Stray Pit Bull Can’t Stop Smiling After He Was Rescued From Street
Few breeds of dog divide people quite like Pit Bulls. But whether you love them or you hate them, there’s no denying that Brinks the Pit Bull is difficult not to like. Just look at that smile!
The stray Pittie was out wandering the streets of Brooklyn one day when he bumped into a human and his dog. The human was Jon, his dog was Demo, and the three of them hit it off instantly. Jon decided to take Brinks in while he tried to find the lost dog’s owner, but after a month of checking missing dog reports and posting flyers without luck, he realized that Brinks was with him to stay. Brinks was only 11 months old at the time, but as you can see, he’s still smiling almost 12 years later! It’s no surprise he has over 21k followers on Instagram.

Anybody who thinks Pit Bulls are scary should take a look a Brinks
Just look at that smile!
His new human Jon found him wandering alone on the streets of Brooklyn and decided to take care of him
He spent a month trying to find Brinks’s owners but they were nowhere to be found
So Jon decided to adopt him, and 12 years later Brinks can’t stop smiling!
“The most amazing thing is how Brinks grins like a human frequently in response to situations he enjoys,” Jon said
“He smiles for treats, he smiles when you greet him in the morning and when he’s sleeping”
“He grins when he rides in the car, when he lies in the sun (or in front of the fire) and whenever he generally seems happy”

Brinks' smile is infectious! By the end of those photos, I found I was mimicking his smile!! ???? He just makes you happy to see face!!!
This dog is really cute when he smiles. Kudos to the man who rescued him and tried to find his owners. There are some really kind caring people out there. I do not like the breed but, I fell in love with this one!!
I am happy seeing pitties smiling. I am sure his smile would lose its sparkle if he was feeling sad\angry. His ears, muzzle and whole body would give those signals.
My Shih Tzu and myself were saved by a wonderful pitbull when a Swiss farm dog (Appenzeller). These dogs are medium size and people think they are nice! If Ballou the Pit hadn't been there to put that dog on it back and held it until we got away, I don't what would even be the outcome. Long live our friend Ballou. Ballou is very kind to all animals and with all ages of children. Like people all depends on how you were brought up.
Oh what a cutie! I think it's probably impossible to see that smile and not immediately smile back :-)
He is so beautiful!! How could one not want something this amazing in your life??
What a happy face :-) for him love make the same effect has weed on humans :-)
Why do we assume that this look reflects a feeling a happiness or contentment? I suspect that he simply has a congenital crimp in the skin around his mouth which makes it appear that he's smiling. Assuming anything more than that is no more than anthropomorphism, imho.
sigh. There's always one. Speaking of responsible....have you ever spent any time with one? Next time you see a police officer or a veterinarian, do everyone a favor and get their opinion on them - the ones that have a lot of experience with them. I'm sure you'll be surprised with what they say. Until you do that, please do us a favor and and shush.
