Hello fellow isopod keeper. I have to agree with Ovata. They wouldn't just bite through you unless you were dead or something. If they're anything like mine they would rather run away from movement as opposed to being attracted to it. I do agree that they're pretty cute. Love watching them.

Yeah, well posting on BP is supposed to get interest in his work. For example, I never would have heard of him, now I have and may go support him. The are properly cited and all the web sites are linked. So you have the short game right, he misses the payment for that one, but with his work incomplete, it may make me think he's not so good. On top of that they probably have an agreement with him. It's not "stealing." Political candidates playing unlicensed music at rallies, that is stealing.

It's doing the opposite for me. If I like the work and want to see more I would get his patreon. But if he's teasing me with half a comic, all I'm thinking is f**k that guy.

artists can't just post all their work for free hoping people are kind enough to drop a couple dollars in the tip jar. to make money off our work, we have to show people our art, get them interested in what we're created, & then make them actively want to pay us to see more. not making a comic for free doesn't make him a bad person, dude. being an artist is hard work, & getting people to actually pay us for our work is even harder.

That would be like sitting down for dinner and leaving before you got the check.
