Slovenian Artist Creates Amazing Paintings Made From Sand That She Finds Along Natural River Banks
Stanka Golob is a bit of an unusual visual artist. For her paintings she only uses sand of natural colors and different sizes. Sand that she finds all over Slovenia: in rivers, mountains and quarries. The sand has to be washed first and then sifted to different grain sizes. She uses it on canvas, wood, glass or metal.
