Dan Piraro’s comics named ‘Bizarro’ are quite popular, especially if you’ve read certain newspapers before. The artist’s comics are released daily, so pretty much 365 days a year, non-stop. Dan’s comics are featured in more than 300 newspapers, and many of us probably grew up reading them, as his art style might just be ingrained in our memory. It’s fair to say that the artist’s work brings a sense of nostalgia now.

In the last interview with Bored Panda, Dan didn't shy away to tell us a little bit about the main goal of his one-paneled comics as he mentioned hoping to make a living out of it.
"I got into cartooning in hopes of finding a way to make a living that didn’t make me want to jump out of a window. My cartoons are meant to make people laugh and occasionally make them think."
"I have been doing some form of art virtually every day since before I can remember. Even as a 3-year-old, art was my favorite thing to do. I also played sports, explored outdoors, etc., but art was always my go-to if given a choice. Now in my 60s, I still do it every day, whether I’m being paid for it or not." Dan said to us when asked about how he got into the art in the first place.
Alien in a space ship check, blueberry pie check, dynamite stick check, upside down bird - wait, what? And a bunny?
Dan's comics usually cover a lot of topics, but we wanted to know if perhaps he had a few he was particularly fond of or some that provided him with a lot of ideas.
"If I can create a joke that can be drawn, any topic is fair game unless it is vulgar, discriminatory, or violent. I have some favorite topics that I return to over and again, however: cowboys and the Old West, psychology, pets, heaven, and hell, evolution."
Hah, but the dynamite. Vampires, you have become a part of something bigger than yourself.
When asked about his drawing style, whether it was cartoony, realistic, or something else entirely, the artist told us that, "My drawing style is fairly realistic for a cartoon and my humor style is strange. That makes me a surrealist humorist, I suppose."
So Pandas, which of Dan's newest comics did you like the most? Let us know down in the comments and we will see you soon in part 5 (hopefully)!
Let me guess, Captain America's roomate chores are to captainize everyone and americanize everything in the house ?
Did the gave the Mini Death a pool noodle scythe? Doesn't look like a Nerf to me
Pie, dynamite, alien, pipe, 02... I'm only missing one and it's bugging me!!!
As a bunny mama, I've always wondered if I should get my bun a large hat to play in.
I love the artist's traditional style of drawing! (And am quite intrigued by the presence of slices of pie/eyeballs, along with the occasional alien that looks like Kodos from the Simpsons)
OK, they're all on the wall. Like how she put bunny and dynamite together.
There is the upside down bird with the top hat making it's appearance again!
I think there's hidden objects lying around these pictures. There four in this one.
To anyone wondering about the pipes and eyeballs and aliens in the comics... you can find the explanation here: https://www.bizarro.com/secret-symbols
Thank you, knowing that there is a number to tell you how many are in each picture really helped.
Load More Replies...Congratulations on reaching the comment section! Now you can go back and find the secret symbols in the comics! Pipe. Flying Saucer Alien. Bunny. Eyeball. Upside-down Bird. Pie. Oyl. Loafer. Arrow. K2. Crown. Fish. Dynamite.
Have you realized that there are secret symbols? There are a pipe, flying saucer alien, dynamite, K2, pie, etc.
In my defense this was originally 70 comics. They’ve shortened to the top 30. If you’d read the bottom 40 you would agree with me.
