$10 for an enamel pin is pretty standard, especially since it's soft enamel (meaning it dips down between the lines; hard enamel is a smooth unbroken surface, which uses a bit more material)

I was gifted one of these. It's okay. I think it depends on the type of pain you are in. But I did appreciate the gift because my good friend was trying to give me relief.
