When exploring new content on Instagram, do you ever so often happen to come across accounts with very particular content that has the power to unnerve you? Yet, at the same time, it's so fascinating, you can't force yourself not to look. Well, for better or for worse, we have a special treat for you today.
We would like to present a young American artist of 24 years, Hunter Scheiderer, from Los Angeles. He draws weird and dark comics which are oddly quite mesmerizing to look at. The catch is, his short scary stories are completely absurd, true pearls of a dark sense of humor. With almost 100K followers on Instagram, Hunter manages to be unpredictable in his art defying common sense. There's only one sure thing, the best place to appreciate his dark cartoon drawings is under a blanket.
You might wonder what drives the artist to make these short horror stories? And the answer is his social anxiety, an evil that has widely spread among artists in their twenties. According to Hunter, what's most important is that simple drawing ideas can be turned into something very interesting with the help of weirdness.
There's no doubt that this artist has already found his very own style, and below are some of his webcomics which we hope you will like!

I wouldn't want to have to live in this person's head. And I really didn't need to see these.
I couldn't even look at some of them, so good job I guess
Many of these, while being disturbing, were trying to prove a point so you can't just consider what's happening basically and try to judge it from there
These were all SO creepy, and the art style made them even more so... I loved them
This guy needs serious therapy! It was like a train wreck, I couldn't stop watching even though it was horrible!!! 😱
