School Yearbook Includes Loyal Service Dog Next To Her Boy Who Has Muscular Dystrophy
Presley, a loving service dog, has barely left the side of her boy Seph Ware for the last 4 years. She even attends Good Hope Middle School in Louisiana with him. The school’s officials have recognized her devotion and decided to honor Presley by putting her photograph next to Seph’s into the yearbook.
The 7th grader has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a progressive muscle degeneration, which makes it difficult for Seph to deal with everyday routine. “She can pick up anything off the floor that he needs or may have dropped, go get help if Seph were to fall and not be able to get up, open doors/drawers/cabinets and close them on command,” Seph’s mom Lori Watkins-Ware told Bored Panda. “She will stand near Seph if he begins to lose his balance and will help support him so he doesn’t fall. He loves Presley to death and he can’t imagine life without her.”
