Excellent. All these posters are so wonderful! I really love the minimalistic style of the illustrations that helps so much to communicate the message. I also admire the very tasteful choice of colors and the typography. Plus, the advice given in the posters is really good (I can confirm from my own experience). Haven’t seen top-notch graphic design/illustrations like this/these in quite a while. Thanks a lot for sharing! Please keep up the good work.

I came up with the idea for these posters when I realized how often we tend to overlook the effects of little day-to-day choices on our well-being in the long run: how excessive expectations lay as a burden on our shoulders.

RELATED:

The absence of a filter floods us with anxiety and existential dread; poor nutrition aids lack of energy and worsens our physical health. The choices one finds in the “Self Care” project can grow into habits and gradually shoot one into an upward spiral.

When I couldn't read at all for what felt like years, I picked a book up and read in 5 minute increments once a day and just forcing myself to do that little bit really helped.

My hope is for this project to serve as a reminder for the ones searching for the ultimate solution that it consists of many baby steps instead of one giant leap. And that making those steps regularly will cover a vast distance toward something we can call “the life that’s worth living”.

I'm so happy I stopped watching TV news. It made me so distressed and angry.

That's why as with the “Toxic Support” project, I partnered with the Anxiety and Depression Association of America and am immensely grateful for their support! Also, if you are interested here's an article on the “Self Care” project at the ADAA site that you can check out.

I always thought, if I had the money I would buy a treadmill and plop it in front of my television. That way if it rained or was gloomy I would put a travel DVD on and watch it while walking on my treadmill.

Goals: 1) Get out of bed. 2) Brush teeth. 3) Put on clothes. I have learned that spending the entire day in my PJs makes me feel more depressed. 4) Make the bed, even if you' only pull the blanket over the messy sheets. Now you have accomplished 4 things and you haven't even left your room.
