The Internet Is Trying To Find The Person Who Left This Note In An Airplane

What do you do when you’re nervous as hell? Bite your lip? Pick your nails? Whatever it is, it probably isn’t writing confessions on a barf bag. But that’s exactly what Andrea did while flying to tell a guy she had a major crush on him. And it sounded more romantic than Shakespeare’s sonnets as well. The funny thing is that it might have gone unnoticed if not for an airline employee who found it while cleaning the plane. After they shared it on reddit one day ago, nearly 50K people have already upvoted it and now everyone’s trying to find Andrea and ask her how the whole thing went down.

RELATED:

“Found this in the back pocket of a seat on an aircraft I was cleaning last year. Where ever you are, I hope it went well for you”

People really want to know who exactly is Andrea and how did it all go

I didn't realise it had been written down below, so I was there squinting and trying to read the messy handwriting. Well I was just a tiny bit annoyed when I realised, just a little, I promise! *throws chair across room*

I wish I had had the money and independence to do crazy stuff like this when I was 21. Enjoy your youth and be reckless while you can, take it from me you will only regret the things you DIDN'T do!!!!

#Shark-Farts, no, she hasn't watched too many romantic comedies. She's clearly aware that it might not work out, but also knows that if you don't tell the person, it definitely won't. I think people who keep it bottled up inside are taking a stupid risk (they will NEVER know how happy they might have been) - for what, fear of embarrassment for a few minutes? This person knows you, they like you, the worst that will happen is they'll say "no" and you go back to how it was before.

When I was young I told several of my crushes that I liked them. I was a cute, shy young woman. In a moment of boldness I decided to take a risk. I was shot down. Every. Damn. Time. I lost a good guy friend. He still avoids me 20+ years later. Another guy said I was too smart. A few guys flirted with me and oops never mentioned they had girlfriends. That's how I learned some guys like to string women along as backup girlfriends in case they have to dump girlfriend #1. I eventually decided being single is fun and fairly painless. I like knowing I can take care of myself.

And what happens if it goes well? She abandons her once in a lifetime opportunity to study abroad and see what the world has to offer? Yeah, we all like romantic endings, but this is just foolish with the exciting opportunities she has that are just days away. Life is wildly unfair - when you're young, you have no wisdom, but you do have an open world in front of you. When you're older, you have the wisdom, but all the opportunities of youth are behind you.

You're on the internet reading about some random strangers life, is your comment ironic or is it just a paradox?

She's leaving for five months and wants him to know she has a crush. Pretty selfish. She won't be there and he won't be allowed date on the hope she comes back to him and she'll be other side of the world. Stupid.

Is this a romantic gesture or does it lean towards stalking? How fine a line is it between the two?

Depends on how well she knows the guy to know whether he'd enjoy it... and I don't think a one time thing can ever be considered stalking. The person might get creeped out by it, but it's still one isolated episode. Stalking is constant and persistent.
