I Photographed Sea Lions In The Galápagos, And There’s A Reason People Call Them The Puppies Of The Sea
I spent one week in the Galápagos Islands of Ecuador and there was one animal that I couldn't avoid... Sea lions. They are everywhere! You can't go a day without seeing one. The best part about it is that they are super cute and friendly! They sometimes come right up to you! However, be careful because some of them might charge at you!
There always seems like there are 1 or 2 big males that "run the beach". However, my favorites are the little baby sea lion pups, who wander around the beach plopping down to rest in different spots. I saw one of them playing with an orange once!

Thanks for these beautiful photos. I am from Ecuador and I am so proud to see Galápagos here, even a little bit
There is a cute video about a seal on YouTube I will leave a link if you are interested https://youtu.be/PL9iMPx9CpQ
Great photos ! Did a tour there last year. The sea lions were fun. The tortoises were great !
Sigh Galapagos is part of my country (Ecuador) sadly I need a visa to visit an island in my own country
Wonderfully adorable pictures these fellas make me smile with their happy antics
last picture I find terryfying, is Galapagos truly so infested with humans?
Not for long, they're talking about restricting tourism due to people being people while there.
