Dog lovers worldwide constantly fight over which good boy is the cutest and most adorable. However, for some dog owners, cuteness is boring and they want their doggo to scare the living daylights out of their neighbors instead. They achieved this in one of the most innovative ways ever - by turning their furry friends into vicious, chillingly scary dogs with the help of a simple novelty muzzle.
If you’re all about shock value as well, love supernatural creatures and believe it’s never too early to get ready for Halloween, then you might consider getting a dog muzzle for your pooch that looks exactly like the snarling jaws of a rabid werewolf.

However, be warned that this cool thing will make even the most innocent puppy or sleepy old-timer look as though they want to tear a chunk of flesh out of somebody’s leg and then howl at the moon.
While the werewolf muzzle is great for a laugh on Halloween or during the full moon when others are expecting odd-looking creatures and weird monsters to roam the streets, it might not be the best idea to have your Cerberus wearing it every time you take it out for walkies. The muzzle’s massive plastic bloodstained teeth are liable to give anyone a heart attack, especially kids and the elderly. It’s great for keeping thieves away from your home, but far from not the best way to make new friends at the local park.
According to SpookyPup’s listing for the cool dog muzzle on Amazon, their product is supposed to be ‘hilarious’ and a way for man’s best friend to join you on your annual Halloween hunt for candy, chocolate and, hopefully, Scooby Snacks. There are three muzzle sizes to choose from (medium, large and extra-large) so most dog lovers will have the opportunity to turn their fluffy amigos into terrifying Terriers.
The werewolf muzzle is as fun as it is scary, but it raises a couple of important issues. First of all, most pooches that wear muzzles are seen as dangerous dogs, whether or not they really are. Secondly, some people think that muzzling dogs is cruel.
The fact is, a dog with a muzzle means its owner is being responsible and very careful. For example, the dog might have recently been injured and we all know how pain can make even the friendliest critters lash out. Meanwhile, other dogs are very inquisitive and will eat anything in sight, from pebbles to bugs, so it’s important to prevent this for their own sake. Lastly, depending on where you live and what breed your dog is, you may be legally forced to make it wear a muzzle, even if your pupper has never hurt anyone before. As far as cruelty is concerned, it’s very important that your dog has been trained to wear muzzles and that they aren’t too small or constricting.
Wow! This is great, because the fur hides the muzzle and really looks like its teeth!
Some experts argue that all owners should get their dogs used to muzzles from an early age, just in case they need to wear one in the future. According to experts, sooner or later a situation will occur where your dog will have to wear a muzzle, so it’s in everyone’s interest for the dog not to fear muzzles from the very start. Unfortunately, not all dogs love muzzles.
The best way for your dog to quickly get used to muzzles is to associate it with fun, getting compliments and plenty of delicious treats. Remember to generously reward your dog and shower it with love for being near a muzzle at the start of the training and for wearing it later on.
"Looks great. Fits a little lose but that could just be me getting the wrong size, a little bit confusing."
"Ordered this just for fun and it is worth every penny. Made well, fits well, and looks fantastic! I'm so glad I ordered!"
OK, I confess. This one made me laugh out loud. (but I would never put a muzzle on a dog, they couldn't defend themselves if needed).
"Love the spooky teeth muzzle. My German Shepherd pup wore it on Halloween and seriously got more reactions and compliments than my kids did. It's made very well and shipped extremity fast. Definatly would recommend this to anyone."
"This thing is great! I wouldnt suggest it as an actually muzzle if your dog is super aggressive. But as just a precaution or as a costume its very cute. It worked very well for my pup in both the haunted house we worked at and in the creative grooming competition we competed in."
He kinda just looks goofy like "Well this a strange occurrence that I did not foresee" lol
"I bought this for halloween. I think it looks a little goofy but fits like described( large for a lab) and looks like the picture."
"Great! My dog is from the shelter and she is very shy. Kids always try to pet her and she is horrified!! Put this on and she gets confidence!"
Aww, thanks for rescuing that sweet pup! The longer she's in a loving home, the more confident she will get. Depending on how traumatizing she had it before, she may never be real open around strangers. My dog is scared of his own shadow sometimes. He will be outside pooping and haul butt yelping that a blade of grass caught him offguard. But he's a chihuahua and they're just weird too. But they're all awesome no matter what their quirks are, just makes them so much more special.
"This is a pretty cool looking muzzle. And the durability isn't bad either. I would definitely recommend."
"The medium was the right size for my husky, but I got the large. I'm happy with it because she has extra space to drink water with it. And it's very easy to adjust she never fights when I put it on. I just got it for when new people come to my house that my dog doesn't know, she can be a bully to strangers and has a small nipping issue if she hasn't warmed up to you."
This is wrong. Pet dogs should never be used to intimidate other people and that is what these masks will do. Many adults and children are scared of dogs or have had traumatic experiences with them. these muzzles are cruel and irresponsible.
This seems like a bad idea. Wouldn't this increase the odds of a dog fight,? I'm thinking another dog would see this and consider it fighting words , if such a thing was real. But you get the point.
It's terrible. People are already afraid of certain breeds and this will NOT help. I think it's gonna put the dogs at risk because people will be scared as f**k of them. Especially in big ol' 'Murica where everyone owns a gun.. ? Yeah it's just a big NO from me.
It's all fun and games until some Murican gets scared and shots a dog wearing this muzzle. So no - it's stupid.
I wish ear-chopping was illegal all over the world. I see some dobermans and another dogbreed that have their ears chopped off for a more "intimidating" look. So sad :'(
This is disgraceful. What happens if someone sees a dog with that on its face and the poor thing gets shot?
people, chill out, NO ONE said these muzzles would stay on, it's mostly just for the photos and possibly halloween.
If someone was visually impaired, they'd absolutely c**p themselves...like my Gran!
Bared teeth is a dog’s way of showing that they’re ready for a fight; I wonder how other dogs might react. Would certainly scare the s**t out of me at first sight!
nope, nope nope. maybe i just think the worst, but i can see a dog getting loose and someone freaking out and shooting it. just a bad idea.
Yes, that make people so much more comfortable when your walking your dog. Bad idea
I do not like it and think it might be dangerous for the dogs. what if they meet a cop or an armed person that gets scared?
THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOO STUPID!!!!!! EVERYONE IS GOING TO START SAYING THIS IS FOR AGGRESSIVE DOGS!!!!!! NO DOG IS AGGRESSIVE< IT'S THE OWNER'S FAULT!!!!!!!!
Please take this down. This post is going to make people want to by this just for pictures. Dogs should not be muzzled for human entertainment. Only if there is a threat to the dog or person or persons should a dog be in a muzzle. Not for barking not for a cool Insta pic or anything like that. This is a terrible topic.
Judging from the comments, nobody has a sense of humor anymore. The muzzle is hilarious.
I would buy one of these, they are pretty cool, but there’s no need to further intimidate people especially when most of the dog breeds on here already have very negative stigma associated with them
I am so mixed about this. On the one hand I work really hard to combat the stigma my pit bulls face every single day, even in their own neighborhood where they've lived for 10 years and never once had any issues with any one person or their pet/s. BUT a small part of me would love to put this on them and walk them past the one house of neighbors that are extremely ignorant and HATE us and make our lives miserable because of our dogs. They might just faint lol of course my one dog wouldn't think anything of it because he gets muzzled at the vet. He would be none the wiser.
Let’s see some small pup sizes for this!!! Chihuahua, Pomeranian, min pin, etc!
