Saturday Of Experiments – View The World From A Different Perspective
Every year the EmpirX Association and the Faculty of Physics at Babes-Bolyai University organize the Saturday of Experiments, an open event for all. On April 25th, 2015 the Physics Department’s building came alive through various physical experiments. Hundreds of children from toddlers to high school seniors, parents, teachers, grandparents had the opportunity to test their knowledge of everyday phenomena, as well as to try chatting using parabolae, walk on non-newtonian fluid or solve a laser labyrinth problem. Many of the experiments were interactive, but some of them were meant to be just simply spectacular, like the dry ice explosion, the video magnification presentation or the optical shows.
This year I had the honor to document the event, so here are some frames of the day.
