Some people sample sound and remix it. I sample people with a 3D scanner and remix them using my own software.

3D sampling and mixing could be a huge thing in the future seeing recent iPads already have 3D scanner.

Currently a scan takes something like 5 minutes where the person has to be complete still in order to not mess up the scan.
