Romanian Photographer Creates Spectacular Infrared Photography With A Phone
While most people in the photography communities obsess over camera, lenses, and any kind of expensive gear I rediscovered the joy of walking around town and without a backpack full of equipment. The truth is, these days phones have quite powerful cameras and mine was surprisingly good at capturing the infrared spectrum. This made for a relatively cheap and enjoyable way to shoot infrared while the limitations of pushed me to learn more and improve my skills both while shooting and in the post-processing department.
In contrast to regular photos, IR looks the best while the sun is up in the sky and shining bright and by pure luck, my hometown, Brasov, Romania has a lot of foliage that reflects infrared
For those of you that care about technical aspects, all those photos are shot with a Samsung S10e phone fitted with a 3$ clip-on adapter and a780nm infrared filter
