Romania is one of the few countries in the world where people in certain regions are still wearing traditional costumes daily. This fact tells a lot about the culture of the Romanians and how proud they are of their ancestors. Our present is filled with unique habits from the past.
Combining ballet with traditional dressing elements and adding a contemporary touch I tried to offer a bridge that connects art and local history with our modern society. This is the story of the Romanian ballerina, who reflects Romanian tradition through grace and elegance.
