During today’s trip to the woods I experienced a unique adventure. On the edge of the forest I met a beautiful young roe buck who seeing me moved away only two steps . Then, observing me from time to time, he proceeded to his daily ceremonies. First, he nibbled the grass, then he rubbed away his antlers against the trees, ate young leaves, drank water from the ditch and sometimes also put his head to the trees, as if absorbing the energy of the forest . Our meeting lasted approx. 20 minutes and I was able to follow him quietly step by step. All the time I wonder why did he not run? Maybe because of my white t-shirt ? We were in a beautiful birch grove and maybe he thought I was an ent?
