Anne’s dreamy whimsical world was always my childhood safe haven.

As an immigrant girl from Kharkiv, Ukraine, and an only child, I spent a lot of time alone. In Anne, I found my bosom friend. Her quixotic nature, her strong and determined character, her wild and beautiful imagination touched something in me.

I wanted every detail of this shoot to carry Anne’s spirit and transport the viewer back with me, to enchanting Green Gables.
