My Wife Insisted Me To Put These Comics On The Internet – They’re About A Cat We Rescued A Few Months Ago
My name is Lucas Turnbloom and I am a cartoonist from Southern California. Most people know me from my Scholastic graphic novel series “Dream Jumper.”
In 2017, my wife and I rescued a sweet, yet rambunctious little cat. A few months later I started a webcomic loosely-based on her adventures called, “How to Cat.”
The comic was originally intended to be an inside joke for my wife and I, but she insisted that I put it on the internet and share it with the world. The strip seems to have found an audience on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter – which is incredible.
I’m so happy people have found joy in this silly little comic. I hope to continue it for years to come.

I have a cat sized dog that does this - I'm beginning to wonder if she's just wearing a very good disguise!
Of course not! You do get used to being watched... judged... and found wanting!
The little cat inspiring these must be a gorgeous little thing and clearly good at teaching her humans.
Mine watch as I clean the box. It's a big deal to use the clean box first
In reference to second pic, I am sure many people would have noticed that cats walk right angles to us, unlike dogs which either lead us or follow us in parallel. That's why you would bump into cat more rather than dogs, or may be its just my cat.
We also have a giant Maine C**n - they like water. So when it's shower time we have to make sure Hoot isn't anywhere nearby.
Load More Replies...My first thought was *sigh* another cat comic......but you won me right over. These are clever, well drawn, and funny! Thanks!
There is NO way you can't love a cat! Even the mean, schitzo weird ones. They own you, not the other way around.
They have taken over, we are living in a cat-owned Human-simulator!
Load More Replies...Cute thing happened yesterday. Me and my dad were walking home and our cat was outside our gate. When he saw us he started running up to us while doing a lot of mini meows. My dad ended up walking slightly ahead of me and our cat kept looking back to make sure I was coming
My cat runs ahead of me and stops to look back every few steps just in case I might be heading to the kitchen.
Load More Replies...I'm having a rescue cat for the first time in my long line of dogs in my life... This is EXACTLY how it is, well done Sir.
i think this guy also used to do a cartoon with a teddy bear that came to life that was a total jerk.....kinda miss that comic.
Normal cat, enjoy:). * it is possible to train cats. ... to keep them away from an area, understand what that individual cat wants there, provide that need in at least two other places. Add offensive to cat smells but nice to human. .. after testing That Cat. for example with a new cat i put lemon essential oil on saucers all over of my kitchen surfaces. Put newspaper right on on the edge so if the cat jumps up they fall. ( it sounds cruel but saves endless problems later ).
Do your research, as in proper vets, vet nurses, RSPCA ( royal society for prevention of cruelty Australia etc . not just some person on the net whose only qualification is mum and dad had a cat once.
