I Turned Old Wooden Pallets Into A Little Castle For My 5-Year-Old Niece
When I said to my five years old niece that I’m going to build a cabin in the backyard, she answered me that she didn’t want a cabin but a “Princess palace”.
Ok, I’ve done my best…
This is the final result
First, I had to do the carcass of the cabin
Then I made the floor
I cut a round hole in one of the walls to make the door
What would a princess castle be without this heart?
Time to move outside
One of the last things to do was the roof
And here it is, finished!
Here’s how everything looks inside
A peek through the door
I also added this slide to make everything more fun
It’s time for the princess to enjoy her castle!

Share on FacebookI really do like the angles and flaring of roof and railing in order to give it a fairy tale look. But I would think some poured concrete bases would be better than just flat rocks. And a grass ground could help keep the little ones from getting hurt when they fall, and believe me they are going to fall. ;D
Impossible to make concrete due to local laws and the rass will come, just let it grow ;)
