Artist Anusha VR used to dabble with fiction, but she realized she wasn't really enjoying it. So she stopped writing fiction and started drawing autobiographical comics instead.
The series is called The AVR Method and it already has accumulated tens of thousands of followers on social media. Every strip illustrates Anusha VR's life experiences, and quite a few feature her partner, too. From cute little moments to being vulnerable together, it looks like these two are on the right path. Taking a glimpse at their relationship, you can't help but feel that you've stumbled across something innocent yet profound and genuine. And it's awesome. Take a look for yourself!

"The comics explore issues like mental health and recovery from trauma while also covering lighter topics like books, travel, and food," Anusha VR introduced her work to Bored Panda. "I just hope my art can bring a bit of joy and wholesomeness to those who come across it."
And they certainly do! Going through the strips, you should soon start noticing the main characters. Just like the scenarios, they come from Anusha VR's personal life too. "The characters are based on my favorite colors," she explained. "Purple is me, Grey is Prithvi (my partner), and Green is Bharathi (my aunt, parent, and best friend)."
Talking about her mental health struggles, Anusha VR said she finds it essential to be positive, but at the same time, it is also necessary for her to acknowledge the dark side of the struggles.
She has shared her strips on mental wellbeing with Bored Panda about seven months ago, but it's really nice to know that the artist is still keeping her demons in check.
This is true for me too, but what I really mean when I say I am full, is that I am full of the same taste. Hence the reason for now wanting something sweet, often followed by the bit of garlic bread I didn't eat before.
"Is your brain being nice to you today" would be nice to hear every once and a while.
My dear husband is like this. I have genetic dysthymia and he supports me when I have a bad spell.
I‘ve been looking for mint chocolate chip icecream for weeks now, but no store here sells it :(
Yes, everyone should do this for all their loved ones. Even if it's once in a while.
