I Noticed That I’ve Been Drawing The Same Face And Features, So I Decided To Turn My Followers Into Illustrated Characters (New Pics)
I've been drawing my whole life and in the last couple of years I've seen something very peculiar—all my characters look quite the same. I think it is called "same face syndrome". I started practicing with different photos from Pinterest but then again they were still models and looked alike as well, I needed real people. So this is what I did:
I have a small art Instagram account so I've decided that I will randomly draw my followers. One day I posted a story with the caption "I need some drawing practice if you want me to do an illustrated portrait of you, post your photo on a story with Draw me @gloria.shugleva". Never have I imagined that so many awesome people with unique features and different vibes will send me photos.
Those are the results. I love how they turned out and most importantly how they helped me improve. Also, if you're interested, you can find my previous post here on Bored Panda.

Wow.. these are freaking amazing! Talent out the fingertips, like shooting stars!
I may be wrong, but the styles in each of these look pretty distinctly different....
Never mind, upon further looking it's not the case- these are lovely!
