I Show People They Can Read Books Anywhere And Anytime (Part 3)
My name is Jakub Pavlovsky, I’m a 22-year-old Slovak who’s been living in Prague, Czech Republic for more than fourteen years. I study journalism and besides writing, my biggest passion is reading, especially books.
A year ago, I realized that I had a lot of books at home, but I’m not reading them all. I was always reading but not that much. And I also became conscious of the same problem concerning my friends and acquaintances. We all were reading less and less and prefer modern technologies to traditional values which books are.
Therefore, I created a project called “BOOK’S CALLING”. The main idea of it was to show people they can read literally anywhere and anytime so they wouldn’t have any excuses to not read books. However, it supposed to help me as well. And it helped. Nowadays, I do read more than I used to – and I don’t leave our house until I have a book in my hands or in my bag.
You can also read my Part 1 and Part 2.
