Trains and railroad tunnels have always been popular canvases for street artists, but this work by Portugese artist Artur Bordalo is probably the first time we’ve seen street art done on the tracks themselves.
Railroad tracks serve as canvases for Bordalo’s clever street art pieces. He started drawing on railways earlier this year in various locations throughout Portugal, incorporating the tracks’ strong horizontal lines into the compositions of his works.
