There is no division between church and state in the UK because the monarch is technically the head of both. The British monarch is above the law and cannot be arrested or tried under UK civil or criminal law. It's entirely the royal family's personal decision not to shown political partiality or express political views in public. The weekly meeting with the Prime Minister, is merely for the purpose of keeping the monarch abreast of national events. He/she has absolutely no day to day influence over government and it's not her/his"job" to form policy or tell the Prime Minister what to do, nor yet the Prime Minister's job to tell the monarch what to do. The queen does have the power to dissolve parliament and veto laws made by parliament, but those powers have not been used since Victoria was queen over 100 years ago.

How ridiculous! Here in the UK the Queen is head of state as well as The Church of England, therefore Parliament, and can dismiss both chambers - Member and Lords if so wished. That won't happen. Let's face it, she's old and s**t...
