Since 1968 the Village of Slindon in Sussex, UK, EU has celebrated the harvest of Pumpkins and squashes of all kinds.
The main feature being a pumpkin mural 7m x 4m using over 1500 whole fruits. Taking 10 days to create, each fruit is supported by 2-3 willow stakes hammered into a straw frame. The current installer environmental artist Mark Antony Haden Ford of Two Circles Design has created for 2017 is the bored game Snakes and Ladders, Donations will go to the Charity Mind.
