Professor Quizzes Students On Heterosexuality, Completely Shuts Down Homophobes
For LGBTQ people, especially those living in less tolerant spheres, ignorant questions about their identities are painfully common. A university professor in Florida decided to take a stand against it by turning the tables, and asked the same questions of heterosexual students in the class. The satirical quiz was shared on Twitter by one of their students, and is going viral for all the right reasons.
Reactions to the post included standard flare-ups of homophobia, stoic disapproval, and people who just didn’t get the joke. But an overwhelming majority of the responses praised the teacher and their courage. The tweet has also been shared by over 17k users, meaning the discussion is going far beyond the classroom.
High-five to this progressive prof for advocating another technique that just might help foster some more understanding in our severely divided world.

Share on FacebookMy favorite is when straight men ask "how do you know you won't like sex with a man, if you've never tried it?" My response that usually silence them into deep thought is typically "how do you know YOU won't?"
I think it's a great idea.... put yourself in the place of someone else who is "different"
Not a choice, but procreation is a natural and biological fact. Just respect others whatever they feel atracted to.
Really ? So a straight couple where the woman can't have baby is a second class relationship ? Or a relationship where both of them DON'T want children ? you're implying that the only valid relationship is the one where people have children, and everything else is just "a relationship based on attraction". It's time that people keep their condescending religious b******t out of other people's life, feel free to have as many children as you want, but don't reduce a relationship to procreation only, this is not middle-age anymore...
