French President Macron Casually Lands On Nuclear Submarine Like James Bond, And Internet Can’t Handle It
Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s title of “Mr. Steal Your Girl” has been threatened. Recently, French President Emmanuel Macron landed on a nuclear submarine from a helicopter, and the internet went crazy, calling him the real-life version of James Bond.
Mr. Macron spent several hours aboard the nuclear submarine “Le Terrible”, simulating a missile launch. The drill was intended to tell the world that France won’t be intimidated, as North Korea launched its first successful intercontinental missile.
The French President wanted to be fully involved in the process from start to finish, so he entered the sub from a helicopter. Mr. Macron tweeted a photo from the moment he was being lowered in a harness onto the surfaced submarine, and it quickly went viral, reaching over 3,600 retweets and 11,600 likes. How freakin’ hardcore is this Macron dude?” asked one commenter. “Getting dropped from a chopper onto a sub? This is firmly in James Bond territory.”
