This Pit Bull Gets Her Own Maternity Photoshoot And She Looks Absolutely Glowing
In early September, Mama Pickles – a cute pit bull – was found wandering alone on the streets. The rescuers instantly saw that the adorable dog needed help, given that the 2-year-old dog was very pregnant. The animal control officers took her off the streets and tried finding out where Pickles had come from – they got in touch with her owners, but unfortunately, they had decided that Pickles was not needed anymore and left her to be at the shelter.

The poor pit bull was so pregnant that she needed more help than the shelter could offer her, but fortunately, she was soon found by Pits & Giggles Rescue – a non-profit organization specializing in caring for pregnant and nursing dogs as well as their puppies. While Mama Pickles’ belly was so huge that it made it hard for her to move around, she couldn’t help herself but jump all over the place while meeting her new rescue friends.

Lauren Casteen Sykes, a volunteer with Pits & Giggles Rescue as well as a pet photographer, told Bored Panda: “Pits & Giggles Rescue has a mission like no other. They specialize in Maternity rescue and care.
So rescuers took her in

Lauren is the photographer behind Enchanted Hills Photography and volunteers to take pictures of the cute dogs at Pits & Giggles Rescue to help them get adopted. “When Pits & Giggles reached out saying that they just brought in a Mama from the shelter that was the proudest, happy and caring little thing, we wanted to take maternity photos to keep those precious moments,” the volunteer shared with us. As soon as Pickles arrived at the rescue center, Lauren knew right away that the pregnant pit bull is bound to have a maternity photoshoot. Naturally, the results look impossibly cute.

Everyone was amazed at Mama Pickle’s modeling skills, as she looked like a true diva who certainly knows how to strike a pose. However, her huge belly kept getting in the way while taking these dog maternity photos and it was hard not to laugh at the lovely pitbull’s goofiness and clumsiness. “She’s quite the model. Her legs are certainly too short for the runway, but she was really loving all the attention and affection,” Lauren said. “
Soon after the first photo shoot, Mama Pickles gave birth to her puppies

Not long after the maternity photoshoot, Mama Pickles gave birth to eight wonderful and healthy female puppies. It only seemed natural to do a follow-up photoshoot of the proud new mama and her lovely eight puppers. This time, Pickles seemed even more proud, standing next to her adorable newborns. The rescuers say that she is already an incredible mom and does an amazing job taking care of her little ones.
And then did another photoshoot with them as well

“This girly was clearly used repeatedly for breeding and we’re excited to make sure this is her very last litter,” Lauren told the media. In a few months, Mama Pickles along with her eight puppies will be ready to be put up for adoption in order to find them their forever homes. Up until then, they’ll be living at the rescue shelter. Lauren has been volunteering for Pits & Giggles for nearly two years now. “It hasn’t been only photoshoots,
Here’s how people online reacted to the adorable photoshoot

Share on FacebookWho the f**k dumps their pregnant dog, what kind of a disaster of missing genes are you? F*****g hillbillies like that should all be shot, not their loving dogs put down when they get dumped (thank f**k for this particular shelter), but I would buy a gun and get rid of c***s like that that could do no harm and suffering to animals anymore and I’m European where no one has seen a gun!
Who decides that they don't want their dog just because she's pregnant? I hope these people never have daughters. Mama Pickles is adorable and so are her precious little ones.
They let her get knocked up several times, first.
Load More Replies...I have a blue nose pitty that is a rescue, i live in spokane washington, back history on my baby girl, she was dumped on the streets of la and abandon preg. people suck and are mostly evil in my book. the only reason anyone could figure out at the shelter was cuz they weren't pure bred like she accidentally got knocked up from a different dog. we live in a cruel world, my baby is about 7 to 8 years old now, living the happy life getting fat. so after her puppies were old enough and adopted out they shipped sammi up here to spokane, not even a week later i saw her in the shelter, i didnt pick her (i would have!) she picked me, i had her 2 years now. rescuing is always the best and only way to go. as for people who dump preg dog, they can meet the of my little friend is all i am saying. they can figure out what that means. people for the post parts today suck. Dogs are so much better than 99 percent of the humans in this world we all live on.
Mama Pickle and her pups are very fortunate to be saved from their inconsiderate idiot owner and living with such a loving group of people. Atleast they will make sure she has a bright future. Can't wait to see the first day of training school pics!
My dad used to bread dogs not in a bad way we loved them fed them and they had a huge yard to run around and play all day the only time the mother and puppy’s were in a huge cage was when they were first born so that the mother can puppy’s could be unbothered and safe from the male dog. That being said my dad never touched the puppy’s after they were born ever only to deworm them when they were a few weeks old imagine having a baby and someone putting stuff all over it and holding it and all that it’s actually a very uncomfortable experience for the mother I really don’t like this at all.

Ohio State University’s College of Medicine and Wexner Medical Center have just released a study (May 2019) showing that pit bulls are NOT safe animals to be placed in homes or communities. Dr. K. Craig Kent, dean of the Ohio State University College of Medicine, says that pit bulls are "a significant public health issue." Dr. Robert Lober, Pediatric Neurosurgeon at Dayton Children's Hospital says, "In my mind, this is an epidemic." It is sadly all too common for a pit bull you have loved to turn on you out of the blue for no reason. Pit bulls betray the love and loyalty of so many owners. It's just their genetics coming out, and while the love you give the animal can mask the genetics in the fog of your mind, it never actually changes the animal in reality. It's like how people burned sage to ward off the plague: it was just all in their minds and never actually changed reality one d*mn bit. 1 in 40 pit bulls will grievously injure or kill another animal or human, compared to 1
This is greatest comeback story of all time, you guys have done a great job her and the pups... I'm considering adoption for sure now, blessed future family.
Finally a new score for cuteness!! She is the epitome of fecundity and maternity and the photographer is truly an artist
A b***h is a dog, dogs bark, bark is on trees, and trees are in nature, nature is beautiful, thank you for calling Mama Pickles beautiful stranger 😌😊
