I'm actually sad for her. Imagine that she was probably "invited promptly to look great so she can pose for a picture". I'm pretty sure all she wanted was to stay in bed and rest...

Showing Productivity
Well, not true, if you're pregnant. Your body is hard at work forming a baby! I would say that counts as productive...
It Was No Joke
Pregnancy Weight
I'm the only person I know who lost weight from being pregnant. Of course I gained it all back and then some within about 6 weeks after the baby was born. :(
Do I sound weird? I never wanted kids, but would have liked to know what it felt like being pregnant - apart from maybe the birth part. Maybe in another life I would have been a surrogate. Give me every drug and epidural and a caesarian. As a woman probably have the same mindset as a male - cannot imagine the pain needed to give birth. I had had a trapped spinal nerve meaning I had to crawl to the bathroom - unable to stand up or walk- i equate childbirth to this
Hi Diane, I gave birth over 20 years ago and have lived with a trapped spinal nerve for the last 11 years. I can confirm the spinal nerve is totally worse than the child birth. I hope this answers at least one of life's questions for you :)

You'll do fine. They have all sorts of things to help you get over the pain of labor. Believe me when I say as you get closer to your due date, you'll grow more impatient.."When's it getting here!!!" Just make sure you have a hospital bag packed for the big day (make sure to include and outfit for the kid..we forgot.) And if you can't pamper yourself any other way, get pedicures. They keep you feeling fantastic and will help you keep your feet looking great when you get to the later months and you haven't seen your feet in a while. Just make sure to find a well ventilated nail salon. Congrats and Good Luck!
