I Created 5 Digital Posters Depicting Over 500 Different References From Pop-Culture
I am an illustrator based in Los Angeles and started creating posters back in 2018 with “King Country” depicting over 170 stories by author Stephen King. That was followed up by “Fifth Dimension,” depicting every episode of The Twilight Zone original series. Last Halloween, I released “Ghosts in the Graveyard,” which included over 60 ghosts from film, TV, literature, and legend. And lastly, this Halloween, I decided to take it a step further and create a similar poster to my other ones, but with all the famous witches.

A Gathering Of Witches. Can you find them all?

Inspired by the paintings of Hieronymus Bosch and the Where’s Waldo books, I wanted to create pieces that the viewer could look at for hours and see something different each time.
The posters can even be used as conversation starters like “Can you find all the hidden Easter Eggs?” or “Count up all the good witches and bad witches—who do you think would win?”

Each poster takes me roughly 6 months to complete from start to finish. It begins with a pencil sketch (often two pieces of paper are taped together because I run out of the room). That sketch then gets scanned into the computer where I color it in Photoshop. The computer also allows me to move characters around until I’m happy with the final composition.

“Ghosts in the Graveyard” is the third poster of mine. It depicts 60 ghosts from film, TV, video games, literature, and legend. The full list of spooks is at the bottom of each poster.

The 4th poster in my “there’s a lot of things going on here” poster series, “Drink Up” features over 60 cocktail names, from Moscow Mule and Zombie to Bloody Mary and Screwdriver.
I believe it could be a gift for a bartender, or even to display at home—in other words, a real conversation starter at your next party. You can cover up the key at the bottom and see how many cocktails your friends can identify!

Yes, but it's an easter egg. It is represented, but not by the characters.
