We all can be heroes for someone. By taking responsibility and adopting a pet we can change their life forever. It's incredible how much of a difference it makes for pet when they are adopted.
Post your rescued pets before-and-after pics and encourage other people to think about saving one too!

Sean Today, 4 Months Later
Oh I just noticed this is the same dog! Wow he looks so much happier and healthier! Amazing!
Sean. Rescued From The Streets Of Aruba 4 Months Ago. Look At Him Now. He Stole My Heart.
As someone who has rescued many dogs and cats, this breaks my heart and makes me happy in equal amounts, the fact that these beautiful babies are having to be rescued in the first place makes me sad and even more hateful of a large chunk of mankind (ha, the irony), i love love love the after photos, dogs being dogs, cared for, loved and just clearly happy. To everyone involved in the rescue of animals you are amazing people, heroes and angels. Love them all.
Right now, I have 2 rescue dogs. The first one, Maya, who we found 2 years ago, still is very twitchy if people are holding ANYTHING, even, a tissue near her but she is sooo sweet. The other, Kiwi, who we got 5ish months ago would growl if you touched her and now she will voluntarily sit on our laps so that proves how much it differs from dog to dog. These doggo pics break my heart to see them in such bad condition, but the after pics repair it : ) <3
