This coloring book by Montreal-based artist Sarah Mangle is filled with positive messages that makes it an excellent activity for children and adults alike.

Mangle drew her “Affirmations Colouring Book” during a period of six weeks when she couldn’t walk due to a sprained knee. Coloring is a therapeutic and stress-relieving activity, and Mangle writes that she “has seen affirmations work in many settings with children and adults, in relationships, work settings, and day to day.”

I will make my own interpretation of this in my native language (Polish!) as a gift (with a nice box of good-quality crayons) for my friend who is struggling hard not to sink into lowered mood
