This wearable device can save lives! I never saw anything like it before, it really makes sense!
PLOOTA is worn round the neck. An integrated sensor technology lets the system know when the swimmer (toddlers as well as adults) is in danger. With the help of an integrated CO2 cartridge the two inflatable cushions fill up automatically. They bring the swimming person to the surface and keep the head above the water. The device can also be activated manually. The integrated CO2 cartridge can be exchanged so that it always stays reusable.
It is currently being founded on Kickstarter!
