I Quit My Job To Follow My Passion Of Delicate Framed Herbariums

I guess, today I am the one to tell stories about quitting my job for a hobby.

I always loved flowers and was interested in saving some memory bouquets for a long time. I started by pressing them in books. I practiced a lot keeping flowers in the best condition possible because it’s important to make them look vivid and bright.

The cat doesn't seem impressed. But I find them beautiful and think it's a great idea

I have pressed flowers and framed them. I wonder if the sealed glass keeps them from browning over time...

flowers get brown because of moisture. If you dry them weII enough and eep in a dry pace away from direct sun - they keep their colors for years.

They are lovely. This art form used to be big in the 80s. Even my mother made them. Strange how things come back in fashion. Blue flowers will look gorgeous in my bathroom :)

How bad was your job though and how rich are you to be able to just do that. These are great, but I wouldn't spend money on it. Hobbies turned into business often lose their joy
