According to the official data, right now, Hungary has 58 confirmed coronavirus cases and 122 people in quarantine. This week, like in many other European countries, many public spaces and services were closed down, with only pharmacies and groceries working past 3 p.m.
I set out on a journey in the past two days to capture the coronavirus effect in the capital city of Hungary, Budapest. It was empty, depressing, and scary. Let the pictures tell the story.

Many would find the emptiness unnerving and weird. I find it beautiful, in its own way. No people, no noise, just nothing. There is beauty in absence.
Everyone is loving the photos. All I can think is what if everybody decides to ignore quarantine and run around the city? I’m not ok with this latest batch of deserted city pics.
If we all had that "what if everybody" worry, nobody would be able to do anything. Do we shut down beaches forever because you're worried everybody might go?
