With winter coming closer I thought it was the right time to post some pictures from my stay at the Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort last year.
The resort is known as the original glass igloo hotel. It's situated in Finish Lapland and offered a wide range of activities: dog sledding and hot tea afterwords, making food, horseback riding, walking dogs and most importantly watching the Aurora, the main reason for our trip to the high north.
We went at the end of October and we were lucky to have some snow. The timing was not perfect since the activities were somewhere between the Autumn and Winter options. Still, we had lots of fun.

what is in that little side room?! Is it a bed to look up at the sky from or a hot tub?! I'm thinking a hot tub might be a stretch in the middle of nowhere
