I’ve Taken A Picture Of My Son And Beagle Every Month For The Last Two Years In The Same Chair
So here we are again. Another year down and Stan is now 2 and Jasper is clocking in at the grand old age of 7 later on this year.
It’s been a busy year for us as a family. We moved home, got married, I won Army Photographer of the year the wife set up a business (a baby sensory and story telling class in Bristol), and Stan went ‘viral’.
Between all this, we have kept up the ‘Beagle and the Boy’ project. Every month we take the photo. As you can see the location of the chair changed a few times and we even lost the chair for a month when my Nan reupholstered it for us.

Share on FacebookI love how the dog's face remains solemn throughout in contrast to the little lad's various expressions which seem to include sombre, cheeky, thoughtful, surprised and just marvellously smiley! A great project and would love to see more in the future when the time is right!
I'm hoping to keep it up for a long time
Load More Replies...I was so scared to get to end of the article bc I though the last photo was gonna be of the kid alone omg
We have a good few years left before that hopefully!
Load More Replies...Probably because that was the first full month with a newborn around! I probably looked a bit different! Haha
Load More Replies...Just gorgeous! Love the reupholstered chair and the sample colours on the wall over the last four months! Hope you get time to continue the redecorating soon. 😉
Who could not love a beagle? Greetings from our Yumin, going on 14 in the mountains of northern Taiwan.
It is really great that you took precise position of Jasper and Stan continuously for 24 months. 100% kudos to you...
Lovely photoset! :) It's my imagination or dog lost some weight about age when the baby began to walk?
Please keep it up and keep us all posted on these pics! That is one happy little boy and I love how the dog looks so serious, very cute! 😁
Keep an eye out for next years installment!
