Photographer Creates Series With Foods From His Daily Life In The Pandemic (10 Pics)
Confined indoors during the isolation period imposed by the covid-19 pandemic, photographer Noni Levinson turned his lens to the food he found in the kitchen. In a series of close-up and black-and-white images, he used light and shadow to highlight the textures of vegetables, fruits, and vegetables.
“After the shock of knowing that I would be confined and realizing that I would have to deal with this imponderable, I searched, taking advantage of my eye for the unusual, to discover new things in the house and went to photograph. What first caught my attention, in the middle of shopping, was garlic.”
Israeli based in Rio de Janeiro, photographer, and engineer, Noni Levinson started taking photographs when he was still a teenager, with an analog camera. “I spent a few years without taking pictures and returned to the digital world. I have an eye for detail and what we don't normally pay attention to, which for me is an exercise in seeing the beautiful, from the click to the photo treatment.”

Amazing how this pict reminds me of the "Crown of Thorns Starfish" (a type of echinoderm that lives in coral reefs)!
