They are the skidmark of the human species, with their "I want free stuff" and how the world is meant to stop for them and their photo taking opportunities.

I went to the Harry Potter studio tour in Leavesden a few months ago and a lot of it was spoilt for me because of the influencers. I was in my wheelchair and it was difficult for me to see some of the exhibits because they just wouldn't move out of the way. They were taking 10+ photos doing the same pose, in some areas the staff asked them to move because they were acting like they were the most important people there.

I love the fact that some places have started to push back. If you are doing photo shoots without prior authorization from the establishment, you are removed and banned. If you are a tik-tok or "influencer" asking for a discount or free meal/stuff, the price just doubled. Enough of this entitled BS!

I do the same. If I see people taking regular pics I wait for a few seconds until they're done. If that's some influencer posing s**t I don't give a f**k.

I wholeheartedly support her. These "influencers" do not care about getting a photo/video at a cool place as a memory: they aren't even noticing it. They just want their shot for the 'gram or some other social media site. They aren't enjoying the location.

LOL, I live in Niagara Falls and it's hilarious to watch these tourons (tourist +moron) want to take photos with nobody else in it! The narcisist "influencers" think that their opinion of this natural wonder is the only opinion that matters.

Could be worse. I used to work near Pioneer Square in Seattle. Walking back from lunch one day, I had a big guy approach me and insist, "You can't walk here, we're filming a car commercial!" Pretty sure this is a public sidewalk, buddy... you don't own it, and you're hours away from even having the cameras set up! No, he didn't succeed in intimidating me into taking the long way back to work.

I teach English as a second language, mostly on Zoom since COVID happened. I had a student once who claimed to be an influencer. Dude could barely speak a word of English, and he wouldn't follow my instructions or do his homework. He just talked and talked in very broken English about how much money he had and his two sports cars and his huge house. I kept insisting that he do his homework and one day he just went berserk on me. Started screaming about he was a millionaire and an influencer and that he didn't take orders from anyone because HE was the one who gave the orders. Ranted at me for ten minutes then said he was too pissed off to continue with his class. I told my boss what happened and she said he was the most difficult client she'd ever had to deal with. We made fun of him for weeks. The only thing this clown influenced me to do was laugh until I pooed my shorts.

This is always the moan of us locals in Edinburgh when the festival is on. We just avoid town if possible as it's so frustrating trying to get past thousands of goggle eyed tourists with their phones out taking up the whole path/road. At least working from home means it's easier to avoid!

One time I was in the school bathroom and there was these girls doing a TikTok in the bathroom. Their phone fell in the sink.

"Influencers" (legends in only their own mind) need to get a life. I watched some twit climb up on a pillbox at the top of Diamond Head in Hawaii. Signs are clearly posted to not climb on top. I watched her fall and crack her head open on the concrete. I'm pretty sure she head me say "I guess that's why they post signs to not climb on top."

A couple years ago on a road trip, daughter and I splurged for a nice restaurant for dinner. Woman the next table over set up a phone and (loudly) recorded a long video or podcast or something about the place. Truly obnoxious.

I can't believe the amount of people who take photos of art or that galleries even allow it. When you have thousands of people doing it every day, flash photography can degrade very old paint which is often made with natural substances like egg and plants. And your s****y photo won't look good. Like, are you going to flick through those photos and remember the art? Buy a professionally photographed postcard or art book or something

I would ask to see their permits for filming and closing off public property. They would come from the city and usually the fire or police department. Of course the answer will be no as those entities would have blockades in place for them. So yeah...a couple shots, sure..a whole photo shoot and everyone else has to do without... no.

Whenever I can, I photo bomb people's shots making the goofiest faces I possibly can. There must be hundreds of pictures of me out there. I love it.

My co worker went to universal for the Halloween night special. All he saw was adults filming tic toks and not watching what was going on around them. It's the one time of the year there isn't kids in the park (mostly) at the night events. I asked if he got in the shots. He's 6' so I'm assuming so. I would have just said random words like pepperoni. Or pineapple over their shoulders. So annoying.

We all know it takes effort, Jonas. We just don't give a s**t. I hope more influencers are disrupted and society has to contend with low IQ losers who can't hold any type of job.

If you post more than one Instagram pic or video per day--or have and use a tiktok--you should be rounded up and forcefully sterilized.

Yea influencers are beyond annoying, but why would you waste your time by being passive aggressive when you could just ignore them and enjoy your vacation. Like why focus on trivial things that p**s you off, when you can just not. Maybe it's cause I see so many of these influencers where I live, but if I had the chance to visit another country, I wouldn't spend it ruining their dumb lil photos abafshvkdkd

I went to Greece recently and the only pictures of me from that trip are ones other people took lol. I was a little more focused on what was around me.

I always feel weird taking touristy pictures...I want to capture the memories, but I don't want to be in the way 🥺

I live in Florida. Watched an idiot trying to get a perfect shot with an Alligator sunning on the opposite bank of the river from the dock he was standing on. He kept backing up until he ran out of dock and fell in the water. Then he panicked and swam out of the water while screaming for help. The alligator never moved, it was busy getting some sun.

My phone lets me take videos and pictures at the same time. It also has a feature where you take a video, and it will pull pictures from the video and add filters to them. I use those a lot for instances like this. It Saves time, and the photos turn out great!

Chelsea flower show brings out the worst but our bus and taxi drivers had no qualms scaring the s**t out of them this year because ifyou are stupid enough to stand on a busy street to take a picture, you are stupid enough to get almost run over with a huge horn honk. I also now barge through or have just stood still smoking behind them until they realise I am not moving.

I walk right through these impromptu photo shoots all the time. I don't care if I ruin your shot seeing as how you don't care that your blocking a public space with your never ending picture taking.

Idk about all this... I mean yeah it's no secret that "influencers" are overly dominating social media. However, being rude and petty just to make it harder for them to do their thing is nothing more than petty. It's not "petty revenge," it's just plain old petty with a dash of ridiculousness.

There's another way to go about it. I've been shooting my wife in her wedding dress since before the term influencer existed. We were in a long line for a phot op in Brazil. We made friends with the people around us, they did my wife's hair. I offered to take photos of them, did and sent them to them. Without a strong flash, the sun was in the wrong place to get a good shot. So, it worked out for all. Key thing about photography is interaction.

The very first time I encountered a family "hogging" a site with too many photos (happened to be a cave tour), I had had enough by the 3rd cave room. I just ignored them going forward. I would like to think that's what everyone has always done, but they must not have if we need to hear "special" stories about how people stood up to or ignored or otherwise disallowed rude people from being rude by hogging some site. If we let the rude people win, guess what? They win! So, don't let them win from the get-go. Pointing out and not accepting rudeness is never, ever, ever in itself rude.

There were these two idiots taking insta photos at chimney bluff once that I thought were going to fall off and die. I thought about asking for the handle of the "model" so I could report them to the park police but ended up not doing it. Kind of regret it.

Most people are morons. Ask me to move so you can get the perfect shot, and I'll say "f**k you and everyone with you". Really, that's the kind of sumbitch I am.
