I Use My Photoshop Skills To Restore Vintage Photographs (23 New Pics)
Photography is the art of frozen time. Sometimes, photography is the only link to the past. And over time, it can be lost forever due to tears, scratches, and other threats. I restore such photos and give them a second life. I return to people the memory of the past. Using my exceptional Photoshop skills, I restore extremely fine details in photographs. Here are some examples of my work before and after.

This one is super interesting. The man in the photo is Robert Cornelius, an amateur chemist and photography enthusiast. Cornelius took a picture of himself in the back of his family's chandelier store. He set up the camera and then ran into the frame for the picture, thus having clicked the first-ever 'selfie'. In 1839!!!
These are fantastic but the blur tool is definitely strong on this lady.

Was this originally a tinted daguerreotype, or is that some kind of discoloration of the metal? I mean, it sure looks like the ribbon and dress were intended to be yellow. I’d love to see a colorized version of the restoration, IF the yellow turns out to be tinting.
Lady, you've got talent. Or patience. Probably both.
She looks a bit different, but I just can't put my finger on what it is...
The pose on this one is a little odd. I hate to criticise anything about any of these, as an amazing job has been done on restoring all of these, but on the original, it looks like the figure is leaning on something, this appears to have been removed and it leaves the pose feeling - off.
Boy do I remember getting bundled up like this as a child. This ensemble would be more for going out to dinner or over to a relative’s house. For going out to play, you’d be bundled up in a snowsuit like Randy—-Ralphie’s brother in “A Christmas Story”.
This looks like an excess of photoshopping, such as you’d see on some “influencer’s account, and not a restoration. The face doesn’t look natural.
This one woud be hard because it would be hard to tell if the older one was a guy or a girl. But you did great!
Cool photo—-and the woman is especially daring in it. Sitting on a carpet behind a hookah would mark her as a bohemian, and Victorian society might consider her wanton and reckless with her reputation.
The proportions look a bit off in the restoration. Plus, the face looks kind of crookedly photoshopped in.
Restoring? Or remaking the entire image? Most of the hands are not from the original pic but potoshopped onto the picture.
I think that's a small loss for the quality and effort going into these images- images like these are incredibly hard to restore and they made them look incredible!
Load More Replies...Excellent job on most of the pictures. But some people unfortunately ended up looking like dolls due to the heavy editing.
I agree. But I must have been really hard to do this with all the wrinkles and age. From what I can tell, she did a really good job.
