My name is Marianna, I was born in Vicenza in 1980. I have recently discovered the passion for photography, especially shooting cats, my favorite subjects.

Through the photos in my current project called ‘Passions’ I try to capture the relationship between cats and the people they live with when they are sharing moments of pleasure, engaged in a particular art or pastime they like best. Simple stolen portraits of daily rituals that demonstrate the complicity between the subjects of each chapter.

Thanks to this project i have the possibility to meet new people and so many different cats, everyone with different character, different behavior and habits.

So every chapter has a different theme and it is not always easy to realize; cats are very unpredictable and this is the hardest part of the project. They just do they want when they want. I can not expect anything, I just try and wait to see what happens. From the beginning of the project i have created 12 different Volumes from which the attached photos are taken.
