It Took Me 5 Months To Accomplish This Work.
A Year ago I used to sit alone on terrace watching Moon and wonder if I could capture it with clouds in single shot and that curiosity moved me to spend nights to get better in it and this year decided to make a Moon phase cycle and It took me five months to accomplish this.
From April started to collect best moon of each phase. I was aware of the fact that there will be clouds in coming months but for me clouds make Moon more beautiful..so decided to go with the Moon and clouds instead of clear sky. It was very much challenging because had to wait for clouds to move and when Moon made a space from it I used to capture immediately. The main issue was too much of clouds kills the crispy details then too I went for it. Many days were either too much of clouds or clear sky but I didn’t let the patience to move away.
In August felt that I had got enough of it and now let’s jump to post-processing and that’s where the real trouble started because stupid me don’t get settled with one image I use to click 20-30 photos every time the moon was visible, so had to spend a week shortlisting the best of that particular date.
Than made 25 folder..went to each shortlisted moon and checked it’s date and time…used Photopills app to see at that particular day what was the percentage of moon and than added to folder of that phase. Things would have be bit easy if I was well planned right form the start but I was like,” I’ll manage during post processing.”
Lastly went to photoshop with this 25 folders and my laptop was like ” Are you kidding me.. don’t even expect me to work fast “…files were too heavy to work smoothly for the laptop… but still we continued and after lots of frustrating days we got this.
