I've never dealt with Chewy... but I GUARANTEE that I will from now on. And I plan to share this post to show others what a great customer service base they have. Way to go Chewy!

I had a similar situation when I lost one of my cats, Janey, to Felv last year. Chewy sent me a flower arrangement with a sympathy card! The care and compassion they show to their customers is unparalleled. The customer service at Chewy is always helpful, kind and courteous. They go above and beyond to help their customers and real people answer when you call!!! They are truly amazing. I can't sing their praises enough. Amazing job Chewy!

What a lovely gesture to make, i'm going to send them an e-mail telling them how nice that was. Poor little pupper, go and run free now Bailey. This has given me a lump in my throat.

Someone I know's dog also passed away...she called to let them know to cancel the recurring order. The following day she received flowers and a card in honor of her buddy from Chewy. She said she cried...but it made her feel so loved and happy they thought of her. She is a widower and it made her last memories more warm than lonely but shared I think. It was so sweet. I always think of that story when I see a chewy box!

We use autoship. Chewy contacted me when my dog's prescription food was recalled by Hills Science Diet. They made sure I knew about the recall (which I did) and helped me to check the UPC numbers. Even though the cans we had were OK, they replaced that entire order of very expensive food ($100+) for free AND refunded the original charges as well. The emails I received from Chewy were very human - if you know what I mean. There are actual, breathing people there! They even requested photos of my doggies :) Guess I need to send some.

Chewy ROCKS... I use them all the time for my family's 2 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, fish aquarium, snails, turtle, conure, and rat. They even sent us a Christmas card! This is really heartwarming :) They DO have excellent customer service!

In honor of your beloved pet & in praise of Chewy's humane gesture, our family will transfer all our dog food purchases to Chewy.com. Thank you for sharing this endearing story.

These types of things need to go viral because companies who care this much deserve to have the recognition for it.

Oh no!! Looked up Chewy after this wonderful post and they're only in the USA. So wanted to be a customer. They sound like a fantastic company.

When our girl passed last week I got the most heartfelt condolences from them! At our age we probably won't get another dog but, if we do, Chewy will definitely be our choice for everything canine.

Chewy is a great company, I get all of my cat food from them.

It would take me about 3 months to stop crying. Chewy is amazing.

Chewy is awesome. They are actually a big sponsor of the show "Amanda to the Rescue." Amanda goes around saving the dogs that would otherwise be euthanized because of medical maladies. She gets them well or helps them get as normal of lives as possible and adopts them out to people that are educated on how to care for the dog and that are willing to put the time and effort into caring for their special needs pet. She even went to Puerto Rico after the hurricanes and Hawaii during the volcanic eruptions and relieved them of their most medically challenged pups...all with Chewy.com sending care packages and supplies with her. They are an awesome company! When I get my pup, I'm buying from them.

I have also experienced amazing customer services from them multiple times in the small amount of time I've been shopping from Chewy. Their staff is truly empowered to care about their customers.

Chewy is a great company. They did something similar for my family last year when our dog passed away. I will continue to buy from them with my new dog!

My beloved bear passed away this week and to my surprise a lovely bouquet of flowers was delivered to me from chewy.com (felisa) when I cancelled my food subscription,I was so touched,what an awsome company❤️🐶

I highly recommend them, when my 18 year old pup Bear passed away last year they sent us a card and a bouquet of flowers, defiantly brought the tears out but it was a lovely gesture. <3

This is a really sweet story but what the heck is an emphatical person?

I buy from Zooplus. Last month, my sweet elderly cat Mixa passed away and I had just bought 40 euros of her prescription diet. When I told Zooplus what had happened, they also told me to donate the food and they refunded my money. Excellent service.

After I lost my beloved Shih Tzu, Chico, I emailed Chewy and asked not to send some of their ads for awhile. I received a beautiful flower arrangement and sympathy card. So unexpected and caring. Later, I sent a picture of my new rescue puppy and received a lovely oil painting of him. They are the absolute best at Chewy. They care for us much more than just being customer.

I have the chewy app but had only ordered medicine one time but I will make sure to buy all my pets' needs there now

Chewy.com is amazing. They did the same thing for me when I ordered over $50 of saline for my beautiful Gita, and we had to put her down the day my order arrived. Their customer service is top notch, prices are below pet store prices. Real people, being REAL. XO CHEWY.

Chewy really is a fabulous company. It does not surprise me that they sent him a painting of his beloved doggy. *sniff* *wiping away tears* We adopted two kittens and I bought them a large cat tree and gave a good review on their website (because the cat tree is awesome!). They emailed me and asked for a photo of our new kittens for their pet bulletin board and asked about when we adopted them. A few months later on my kitties 1st birthday they received a birthday card from the Chewy family. We bought an expensive new bird feeder from Chewy, used it once and it ended up attracting a large poisonous snake who was looking for a birdie lunch. I asked if I could possibly return it since the pest control man recommended that we stop feeding the birds. They refunded our money and had me donate it to a friend whose yard is less wooded than ours. I love Chewy.
