With the popularity of instant messaging, email, and video calls, it might have been a while since you’ve received a handwritten letter. And we can relate. We feel for you… from the bottom of our "Dear John" hearts. There’s something super special about knowing the extra effort that went into someone actually taking the time to write to you. They couldn't hit backspace. And start again. If someone took the time to use a pen and some paper, in this day and age, keep them around.
We aren’t talking about scribbling, or the doctor’s note type handwriting. You know that smooth, calming, “eyegasmic” writing? That’s what we are referring to. It's an art. And because we miss it so much, Bored Panda scoured the net to find some of the best samples of gorgeous handwriting that might make you want to shut your laptop and practise your cursive. Keep scrolling for an epic treat of perfect penmanship, and don’t forget to upvote your favorites.

Physics Exam Cheat Sheet!
I honestly believe that cheat sheets like this are legitimate - it's much more important that the student understands the concepts and can interpret and apply them, than have a memory for complex equations. Provided the student knows what the relationships mean, then precisely how to write out the formulas is less important.

Any Fellow Lefties Here? 🙂
The Rhode Island Red has great proportions and is a sturdy bird as well as a good layer. Yes, there are now breeds that produce heavier breast meat and make great egg layers, but they are compromised and are less capable of enduring old fashioned barnyard life. If you want to have a healthier chicken house, the RIR is still a respectable member of farm poultry.

My handwriting/printing most definitely belongs in the inverse gallery to this one. It changes constantly. If I try really, really hard I can manage about a half a page that other people can hooefully read. Much of the time I struggle to decipher it after the fact myself. Possibly I should have been a doctor.
I used to have lovey handwriting, won awards in school ans all. However, after 42 years of fighting Lupus , I have no fine motor kills or grip to be able to write Orr any hand involved art. 🥺
That's so sad! I'm so sorry for your struggle. I hope you can find a creative outlet that fits with your limitations. Don't give up!
Load More Replies...I’m a soon to be doctor with handwriting that looks printed (other people’s words). I’m definitely going to fail the mandatory “doctor’s handwriting test”. At least patients will be happy when they can finally read what the doctor has written ;p (I can’t find the option to add a photo to my comment?!)
WTF Bored Panda?! Yesterday I could access and comment on this entire post, yet today suddenly I can't see all the posts and can't even access my previous comments to reply to someone WITHOUT A SUBSCRIPTION?! You just want to ruin everything, don't you?!
Today I had a post cut off with a "subscribe to see more" notice. I appreciate that BP needs income to survive but I've been looking at other sites to see where I'll be heading soon.
Load More Replies...I literally had a Victorian English teacher in middle school. She was in her 90's and first started teaching as a teenager in 1895. My handwriting was terrible, until I kept getting punished for penmanship! I decided to be a smartass and study calligraphy with the idea that I'd turn in my homework written in fountain pen, with flourishes. Not only started getting A's, but found I really enjoyed it, and got hooked on improving! lol After 2 years of her, though, it did take me a long time to stop having everything I wrote sound like a narrative from the Burns Civil War series! :) Between typing most everything, and age, my penmanship isn't nearly as good now.
I really need to practice. Compared to these examples mine is not mearly bad - its shocking
I used to be a peer tutor (elementary/highschool/college and a note taker for the disabled (University) so I used to be able to write school notes pretty quickly neatly; I had all these different colored pens...it was never beautiful calligraphy handwriting like some of these examples. But it was pretty good. But I'm going to be honest, I haven't had to write much in the last 20 years and now my handwriting is legible but chicken scrawl. Too bad. It is as they say, "use it or lose it"
I'm a calligrapher (invitations, announcements, etc.) and a couple of these are beyond my skill. Particularly #20, looks like a crow nib was used. That consistency with pressure is impressive because that nib will reveal everything.
Fkcu that "premium" garbage. Nobody is going to pay for it. You need my eyes seeing your ads more than I need to view this site.
Whoaaa.....I've been told I have good handwriting, but all these OMG!! Mine is nothing compared to these, they are so beautiful I want to cry.....
My day to day handwriting would shock a doctor. But give me a calligraphy pen and everything changes
