50 Times People Found Some Truly Perfect Handwriting Examples That Were Too Good Not To Share
One of the biggest casualties of the digital age has been the fine skill of handwriting, and the opportunities to show off one's artsy and satisfyingly precise script are diminishing every day. When was the last time you picked up a pen?
While calligraphy continues to flourish in the forms of wedding and event invitations, fontand typography design, having perfect handwriting doesn't really get you that much social cred anymore. Luckily, for those who are blessed with natural talent or have worked hard on their penmanship, there are places on the internet where you are still appreciated! The subreddit penmanshipporn has long been such a place, where scribes come together to share and celebrate the aesthetic value of their beautiful handwriting.
Following on from a previous post, we here at Bored Panda have compiled a list of satisfyingly neat and creative handwriting examples for your viewing pleasure. Scroll down below to check them out for yourself, and let us know which hand lettering you've found the most aesthetically pleasing!

My Friend's Philosophy Notes
Found In Public Restroom In Berkeley
Once, whilst travelling in Italy and visiting countless wonders of art and architecture, I got sick and tired of the appalling graffiti in all the toilets (I was hosteling and camping) so I drew a large, detailed image of a statue from the Trevi fountain holding a bottle of Smirnoff vodka and wrote 'Inter Rail and Smirnoff leave me breathless'. It would have washed off had anyone ever bothered, but I just thought the city deserved a better class of vandalism :-)

I’m Obsessed With These Beautiful Things Of Handwriting
The examples of formal calligraphy are gorgeous, of course, but I prefer/upvote the ones that seem to be just really extraordinary handwriting by regular folks.
Wow I wish I could write like some of theses, I wrote my z's backwards until last year.
The ones of elderly and foreigners I'm not surprised about. My mother (ukrainian immigrant) did elementary under strict handwriting rules. Marks would be taken off if your name was more than a centimeter tall. Neatness was necessary not to fail. And yet...my handwriting is...and I quote, "chicken scratches"
Awesome and something to aspire too. Typing so much my handwriting looks godawful now.
This is probably one of the top ten most satisfying posts on Bored Panda. And, guys, don't worry if you've got messy handwriting. Apparently, you've got ideas that you want to get out quickly.
I was originally a lefty, but I was made to write with my right hand and my writing is chicken scratch to this day! I wonder if any of these fine writers are left handed?
Check out John DeCollibus on YouTube. Or hell, read about the penman J. C. Ryan. He did amazing things without hands.
Load More Replies...Back when the things we had to occupy us, not to mention many were expected of us, were quite different, such as reading, quilting, cross stitch, "practicing your letters" was one of them.
I really want to share my friends' handwriting. It's so neat and beautiful!
I had to quit after two pages. My hand was cramping just looking at them.
All handwritten but not all are handwriting. Calligraphy is different from handwriting ^^
The thing is, how long did it take to write so neatly? I can write pretty well but it will take me twice as long to finish a sentence.
Nice work you fine calligraphers out there, but for some of us this is a far more difficult art than others. So to say that a difficult handwriting assessment ought to be mandatory in schools is unreasonable given how relevant having pretty handwriting is in the modern world. The requirement should simply be legibility, not that you become one of these Picassos of the pen. We don't require short kids to become killers at basketball and football in school. We don't require big people to prove themselves as able jockeys. Don't make those of us who's penmanship is legible but slatternly force our words to meet the lofty aesthetic glory of these soaring scribes.
I wonder how long it took for these. Especially the school notes. My handwriting is awful but it's because i have to write notes quickly to keep up with the teacher
My question on some of these is, do they write like this on a regular basis? And if so, can they do it effortlessly or do they need to take a long time?
I'm going to buy a pen and watch YouTube videos on handwriting right now.
when i write a sentence it normally would look like this : IMG_201805...ba5ccd.jpg
