What people fail to realize is that being a billionaire does not mean that they have a billion dollars in the bank. It is the total of their net worth. This includes the businesses that they own.

Everybody's a capitalist. If you have ever been to a Communist country, they all try to get more money. Used to go over to East Berlin back in the day. That very nice item is reserved for a Soviet General. Pull a little more money out, now it's reserved for a colonel. A few years before the Berlin Wall came down, even high ranking Communist officials were selling off their luxury items for hard American cash. Both systems have their greed. Don't fool yourself.

Screw schools and healthcare. Give their employees a better wage.

This is meaningless. Jeff Bezos didn't become billionaire because he's making a billion dollars a year. He owns shares in Amazon that is valued at a trillion dollars making him a billionaire. Are you proposing we confiscate his shares above 1 billion and do what with them? You can't sell it because that would bring entire stock market and economy down.

It is engrained in the American culture that people shouldn't be paid for what they are doing but they are paid according to some arbitrary system where people who have spend more money on education get paid more for whatever they are doing. Yet somehow, they are not deemed "essential workers" in times of crisis.

They found out that robots needs maintenance. Maintenance costs money. They also can break down. Repairs cost money. And if they screw up, they screw up big time. Big time screw ups costs a lot of money. It's stil cheaper to keep those underpaid wage slaves.
