Student Captures What Happens When People Are Told They Are Beautiful
How would you react if someone told you that you’re beautiful? 18-year-old Shea Glover, a highschool student from Chicago, conducted a social experiment to find out. She posed people in front of her camera and then told them “I’m taking pictures of things I find beautiful.”
The responses are touching. “I conducted an independent project which evidently turned into a social experiment regarding beauty,” Glover writes on YouTube. “I want to clarify that my intentions were not to get a reaction out of people. I was simply filming beauty and this is the result.”

Share on FacebookI'm 73 years old. From my vantage point all of these faces are very beautiful. They are of young people, full of life. Please enjoy your young beauty. When you are older you will find photos of yourself in your twenties and thirties and you will see for the first time how beautiful you were. Maybe no one told you then and you did not know. Maybe your sister was the beautiful one, or an actress or actor, or someone "popular" in your school. Don't fall for that. You will regret it later, when you are not as beautiful (but still active and presentable :-) ) and you wish you had known
Mary - You are still beautiful and full of life! Age is beauty. The oldest trees...beautiful. The well worn rocks and ancient monoliths on beaches...beautiful. Age has no bearing on beauty. But your statement is also beautiful. Have a lovely day!
Load More Replies...made me cry seeing most of them smile and made me cry to see the sadness in some of others' eyes. you can tell they were maybe never told that.
exactly. society these days makes so many people feel guarded, unless they are extremely conformist and look like how the mainstream portray beauty. note how most of these people have created their own identity outside of that. we need to shift away from the corporate owned medias slant on the world and indoctrination and hypersexulisation of the minds youth, it is destroying us
Load More Replies...The one girl who got angry, kind of hit home for me. Sometimes you come from a hard place and when you actually do receive a compliment on how you look or something you do, you think it's another form of ridicule.
That's exactly what I would do. I dot know why I don't think someone would actually genuinely compliment me like that girl did
Load More Replies...At first I was watching this video and I was just enjoying it. But then, I started to tear up and ended up crying through about the last quarter of it. You can tell by some of their reactions that some of these kids hardly ever heard a simple compliment like that, who knows, maybe never. I hit the lowest point of my life, mentally, a month ago when I attempted suicide (I am a graduate student, but the reasons were unrelated to school or age). The next day, I understood why so many others are suffering. We all want love, yet we're all too afraid, or too lazy, or too busy to give it. Human beings need warmth and affirmation from each other in order to thrive. It is so important for young people to realize that they are beautiful and that they are capable of giving and receiving love. They need to know that they can do it. I know that even if I have not yet gotten what I deserve, I have the time to be there for others in the meantime. Amazing project, and a warm person behind it.
Katya, you would be amazed at the suffering people go through on a daily basis, from kids who don't feel loved, to spouses who don't get enough affection, to people who feel too weird to fit in..... I'm beginning to think that maybe the solution is to look outside, help others less fortunate, and maybe their gratitude would warm our hearts. Maybe it's better to search for the fuzzy feeling that comes when you know you did good for someone.
Load More Replies...this has actually made me to the point of tears of mixed emotion. I feel amazing that all of these people are being told that they are beautiful and most of them are really pleasantly surprised and get bashful over it. But then i feel heart broken over the people who don't know how or react or react in such a way that they've been over the words 'i think you are beautiful'. I feel especially saddened by the girl who can only seem respond in a threatening way and it makes me think how little self worth over herself and its probably come from people close to telling her that she's ugly or feels that she is being conceived as weak if she looks or feels beautiful. I wish people we're told that they are beautiful more often than ugly for being themselves. The world would be so much better for it in my opinion.
What a beautiful piece. I'm also BLOWN away at how every single teenager in this video looks like an individual. I could not say the same about my high school. This school looks like an awesome place to thrive and be yourself. I wish you all so much success in life!
Wait, I completely understand what you're trying to say but I don't think it's fair to say that just because maybe at your high school the students were all aesthetically similar - whether it was all blond hair, all brunette hair, all boring, all whatever - that they are less "individual" than the ones in this video, because these students have colored hair and facial piercings and different genetics. Everyone is a person, regardless of their looks, because believing in the contrary is what starts us down a bad road of prejudice. :)
Load More Replies...It was heartbreaking to watch that one girl respond with such anger to this. She responded how I likely would have (well, maybe not quite as violent, but I would have immediately felt insulted, and as if I was the butt of a mean joke.....seriously.) I knew exactly why she was angry. I understood it completely. And that is just so very sad. This was a lovely project. I am glad that it made the majority smile.
Sadly in high school i may have reacted like the violent girl because i wouldnt believe that anyone find me beautiful and i would thought it was a joke or someone trying to bother me.
At first I wanted to slap that person who said "SHUT UP! do you have what you need? I'll cut you in the face". but then I realized that she's probably so used to people being the opposite of nice to her, that she didn't believe it, and it made me really sad. I hope she looks at this video and realizes that she is beautiful.
I believe beauty resides in the heart. What this photographer was doing was touching the love in people's hearts when she said she was photographing that which she found beautiful. What we saw was the beauty of people's hearts burst forth thru their faces when they realized what she'd said. That's why true beauty radiates from people who live in a state of love, no matter what their age.
Shedding tears. This is incredibly heavy, something like this may have literally changed someone's whole life. It's sad how most of your subjects were surprised that someone even had the notion that someone thought they were beautiful. I've lived most of my life with poor self worth, really hit hard, cheers!
A wonderful project, Shea, you made some people's day! Thanks you for doing this as you put another brick in the wall of positiveness and hope, something that is so rare nowadays. When people tell me the world is ugly I tell them, yes, there are many horrible things in the world but if you give yourself a chance you can see the kindness and beauty that hides behind the corners. When I went to Cambodia I had broken my arm two weeks prior and as I walked down a road an old Buddhist monk motioned me over to him. I did not speak Cambodian, he did not speak English but he prayed over my arm and put a little string bracelet on my wrist and smiled and that feeling has never left me. I hope I give people that feeling of love and hope too.
I feel so sorry for the girl who flipped out. She must have built up so many walls.
Some of those people are breaking my heart. Literally, I feel such pain and hollowness when people react like that girl who started threatening to cut her. Because it speaks of so much pain and shame, and I know that feeling, and no one should feel that way. No one should have to protect themselves by being aggressive when they are being flattered. I want to cry.
The whole concept of this video was so BEAUTIFUL that it made me tear up! People, find your inner beauty, we are ALL beautiful in our own special way!
Everyone is beautiful in their own way... Giving such a compliment to anyone will lift their mood up to the moon... :) It is a really nice experiment and we actually should give the people around us more compliments than we do now... We would have a much happier world to live in ! Great job Shea ! Love :X
I love this project. Beauty shines through doubt, anger, disbelief, sadness... some of the expressions on their faces made me cry. So many beautiful people who don't know their own beauty.
This....is beauty. This is the message we all need to hear. Wouldn't the world be a much kinder place if we all took a moment and told the person standing next to us that they were beautiful? I think so.
It's like they are caught off guard and just for a moment we see there true beauty. I think these pictures show a momentary glimpse into there souls. They are astounding!!!
THIS is Beautfil. YOU are a Beautiful being. Thank you so much for being such a phenomenal influence for good in the world!!!
Shea, YOU are beautiful. And we don't even need to see you to know that. <3
As I watched this video, I cried almost the entire time. It's a beautiful video but it's sad that so many of us feel the need to cover our face or cry when we are told something good about ourselves. This says a lot about how many of us have self esteem problems whether it be because society sets the standards or because we aren't told this stuff enough to possibly believe it. I know I struggle with self esteem issues and it's painful it breaks my heart to see young people that early on in life feel or react the same way I do at 44 years old!
I think this experiment would have had very different results if it was a man asking strangers to take pictures of them because he thought they were beautiful.
To everybody in this video! I find all of you beautiful when you are smiling! I really do! Thank you for the video Shea Glover. :)
This has to be my favorite video of the year! I'm so moved... I'm moved with tears. Thank you so much for making this inspiring video! I'll never forget it!
love this so so much- it illustrates just how little we think of ourselves as Beautiful- and how the kindness and observation of another can change our outlook- My heart is broken for that one girl who's reaction was so bad. The things she must have been told in her life.... if you see this- YES You ARE Beautiful.
Wonderful video and work, it made me cry, so much beauty in each and everyone of us! <3
A 40 year old man went round 'taking pictures of people he found beautiful'. Imagine they would be different reactions.
Thanks a lot shea , it's a beautiful project and I think yoûre a beautiful person .
I think everyone is beautiful and I'm not talking about looks. Everyone is beautiful because we all have the capacity of doing great things in this world.
Look how people blossom when we fill them with positivity. What a beautiful project :o)
why am i crying so much. this is a wonderful thing, to see these people's reaction why am i crying
WHATS THE NAME OF THE GUY THAT SMILES IN THE PICTURES THAT LOOKS LIKE TROYE SIVAN
SOS. I'd really like to know the name of the guy that looks like trite Sivan.( 5th picture)
Does somebody knows the name of the woman in the kinda blue hair? I'm in love
Does somebody knows the name of the girl ib the kinda blue hair? I'm in love
All of them are beautiful and this project is beautiful, it made me tear up. Thank you
The beauty of the souls being pictured came shining through. When told they were beautiful, they became that they were;beautiful! Ruth
I felt so sorry for the girl who reacted defensively (and threatened the camera person) for calling her beautiful. She has such low self-confidence that she can't imagine someone would compliment her without making a joke out of it. I hope that one day she'll see her beauty and take down the wall she's put up (and I'm sure there was a good reason for putting it up).
I felt so sorry for the one girl who threatened the camera person because she couldn't believe that she was actually calling her beautiful. She was so sure she was making fun of her. What a horrible reaction. I hope that one day she can find confidence in herself!
This testimony to Love is a real gift for everyone, with gratitude for you to foster all this blossoming beauties!
they are more beautiful when they light up when told they are beautiful
People become beautiful when you tell them they are! If you are complaining there is not enough beauty in the world, you may want to ask yourself "what am I going to do to create it." The moment we define who amazing a person is is the moment they become their best selves. The fact that these people weren't already smiling when approached shows that we aren't doing enough to make people feel the way they should all the time: beautiful!!!!
They are beautiful young people. Not sure why one girl got upset and wanted to cut Shae.
So touching, and she's right those faces are beautiful pity some don't believe it.
Most people aren't confident enough to believe they are beautiful unless someone tells them. Unless we look like famous good looking people, we aren't that confident at all and we all feel like we got the bad end of the stick. I know I feel like that everyday as I wake up and look in the mirror and try to fix all the flaws I think I have. I react the same way the rare times someone gives me a compliment about my appearance.
It takes so little effort to make the world shine! Thank you for warming their hearts, and mine!
They ARE all beautiful! If you enjoyed this film, here's another 12 year-old short film that's almost exactly like it! :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5fpj6ZlK_I http://thoughtmoments.com
Sometimes I receive a gift from out of nowhere of seeing myself as beautiful, even though I am not young now and did not see myself as beautiful when I was, though others often did. Having come to love myself I know that beauty is much more than an image to behold, it is a thing, like this video, that inspires love.
Whenever I go to the park the store or to church and I see an elderly lady Being shy and alone and not looking real with it that day I go up and I say can I give you a hug and I give them a hug and I tell them, I always hug the pretty girls and they always brighten up so much they start blushing, it's a beautiful moment
The girl that said she would cut her on the face... it made me cry to think how she must feel that she thinks she is being made fun of.
Makes you wonder if in all of the photos she took of things she finds beautiful, especially given the message she is trying to convey, did she include a photo of herself?
Love this! See how a simple act of kindness can bring such joy.
The facepalm is my favorite reaction, because it's what I would do lol
The thing that struck me most, was the beauty of each person becoming more striking after they were told they were beautiful. There eyes lit up and their smiles radiated even more making them even more beautiful. Great project.
Bit bad this, the idea is stolen from an artist called Douglas Huebler's work 'Variable Piece #34', he photographed people in 1970 at the instant exactly after the photographer said, “You have a beautiful face".. Really moving images, just a shame the photographer didn't credit the idea to Huebler
I'd react like the girl who sighed because I don't believe anyone when they say I'm beautiful, because they're lying
A high school student did this... brought a smile to each and every one of them. Imagine if everyone complimented just one person a day and they did the same? What a wonderful world this would be.
i see so much hurt and low self worth....thank you for uplifting these people and reminding them of their beauty....they are all beautiful God made people. I wish they could all realise how they are LOVED AND VALUED AND ARE BEAUTIFUL, in Christ. Thank you for being so beautiful Shea
Totally made me cry. Each face lit up with such beauty in their smile. You could see their eyes light up when they realized what she said. And those who didn't believe her- that was heartbreaking.
Still, an underlying issue is that BEAUTY gets so much emphasis. How would people react if told they have a heart of gold? That they're very meaningful in their friends' lives? In a culture that over-rates good looks, it seems that nothing else really matters....
I defy you to watch this video and no smile and become beautiful yourself
Awww this was the sweetest video I've seen on FB in a long while!! I felt beautiful and the camera wasn't even on me!!! Job well done Shea :0) such a beautiful person
Well done, Shea. At 18 years of age, you've managed to do something that has had a great emotional impact on the subjects and the viewers. You've come up with a great idea and I salute you for that. Yours, a 43 year old man.
So great. I felt so sad for the girl who got so defensive when she was told she was beautiful...
The girl that made me cry was the one who told her to shut up. Being told she was beautiful seemed so scary to her...how sad
Don't forget about the beauty a person has "inside" - caring about others, willing to be accountable, present, kind and giving to the world and standing up for the voiceless in this world. While a pretty face and pleasant smile are easy to look at, it's what is inside that person that makes them truly beautiful.
Thanks this is a lovely video. I think we all cry watching it. You are going places young lady... My favorite was the black girl with the green cloth in the head (sorry I do not know the word in English ) she just sparkled. Did you see her?? This is the work of an artist.
I loved the reactions. Most people are not used to hearing they are beautiful so they become awkward. The one girls reaction to kick the other girls a*s was a sad reminder no one has ever told her she was beautiful. Her defenses went up automatically.
All these people are beautiful and it's sad when a few don't let that in (although I think it still does get in there a bit) but what's so touching is when they allow themselves to receive that compliment, u see their beauty only shine brighter, wonderful experiment.
This was such a beautiful video. I love how you made everyone in here smile and tell them that theyre beautiful and i think everyone should be told that theyre beautiful every now and then. :) ps: that girl with the gray hair is really a cutie :]
this is truly amazing <3 made me so smile that you made most of the people on here smile too haha ps: that girl is sucha cutie, the one with the white hair lol or gray
I really liked the concept but the photos are all too badly underexposed and poorly done to fully appreciate it. :/
We are all beautiful, we are alive, so God thinks enough of us to keep us alive...we must be worthy and beautiful!
I used to think I wasn't beautiful but I've been told otherwise too many times Anyone who sees beauty in everything is beauty themselves
Oh, words can't describe how much I enjoyed this video, it was very interesting, and lovely. This project was really good Shea Glover! Do another! Do more! Never stop! xD Very good job btw. xx
A lot of beautiful people at your school and you have a beautiful soul Shea Glover x
This made me smile and cry and be so so happy <3 This really was beautiful
I found all of them beautiful except the girl that said she was gonna cut the person filming obviously she has a ugly personality even tho she had a beautiful face I believe she needs to not threaten people for trying to be nice
Imagine why she has those walls up. People don't become that way for no reason. She likely has never been told that or thought she was being made the butt of a joke.
Load More Replies...I truly believe this project would have had very different results if it were a man going around asking to take photos of strangers because he thought they were beautiful.
That other black girl who told her to shut up must've been really insecure. She's probably been told horrible things I her life to make her feel as if she isn't beautiful that now if someone tells her she is she doesn't believe it, and sees it as a joke.
The people who didn't take you seriously or who weren't touched made me sad. If only we all saw ourselves as we truly are. Such a wonderful project. I don't even have to see the creator of it to know she's a beautiful being.
Shea has a fantastic eye. The beauty isn't just in her eyes beholding it. She was able to capture it and make the rest of us see it. That, is what I would hope we all have the capacity to do for each other.
It's really interesting to see the differences in people's reactions. You can see that dinner of them really do not believe they are beautiful. The girl who seemed genuinely angry about the compliment makes me so sad. What are the people in her life telling her about herself?
Inantiodromia. It is at once both clever and occult. A clever, or conscious, way to say, "smile!" or "cheese!" And an occult, or subconscious, way to reveal that beauty is not a physical thing, but rather an action, or force in nature, in this way beauty is the name of love. Shea, you are enlightened, and have shared that light—with everyone you took pictures of, and with everyone that sees those pictures and evaluates your project. The whole, endless phenomenon of your inspiration is spreading throughout creation. That is the big picture of beauty you desired for yourself. But your project backfired. You discovered something else far greater. Beauty is not merely in the eyes of the beholder—beauty is in the heart of everyone, as a whole, the collective hole [sic] of us all. Bravo, Shea, well done.
The girl with the blue hair is the most beautiful life I've ever seen
today's younger generation is very unconfident, insecure and unsure of themselves! many people feel out of place and don't carry a lot of self esteem. I believe that it is social media and society that has changed this. People feel like they don't have what others show off or whatever allows them to affect them. People can be very closed off today walking past in the mall or wherever. I live in Toronto and feel like this is very very very evident!
My heart broke, when i saw a few faces there who really did not believe it to be true.. The look at their face, told a story about insecurity and feeling ugly..They were all beautiful!!
Just a simple statement makes people soooooooo Happy. So let us all learn to give positive complements to all we meet in lieu of wasting time bitching about others. Regards.
I'm surprised they don't get offended and press for sexual assault charges. Seems to be the trend these days.
3:14, you can tell she's hurting like hell, that girl needs love ASAP :(
3:14 you can tell she's hurting like hell, that girl needs love ASAP :(
Thank you. For this. This day and age we need to be remind to just be happy and stoping making thing beautiful when they already are the most beautiful thing ever...
I think it made most of them happy. But I see insecurities in the last 2 pictures. Hence the covering of the face and the loss of eye contact in the last picture.
Dear high school researcher... You are the hope of what America is to become.
Dear high school researcher..... You are the hope of what America is to become.
I'm 30 and I feel the same way every woman here feels. I always comment on pics that people post on fb of me when I was younger and say, "man I wish I could go back. I wish I could look as I used to. I wish I was as fat as I was the first time I thought I was fat." But life happens. And you know what? I'm so happy it did. I'm so happy with where I am, who I am, and how I am. I am me. AND! I can teach my daughter to simply adore the skin she's in. I never say anything about my appearance other than, "dang, I look great today" or "I love this shirt." When I'm feeling low, I talk to my husband. When I get my daughter dressed (she's 3) I tell her to go look at her smart self in the mirror, and tell her she is beautiful... and she does. My little sassy pants exudes who she is. She's shy, bold, confident, sassy, opinionated, smart, talented, and three. I cannot wait for the person she grows to be. I hope I do right by her. Please don't ever stop being you. You ARE *B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L* <3
This is such a great video, one person gave many young adults a great day. God Bless this young lady and like I say, it takes only one person to make a difference. Imagine if we all started this, a smile, hello, even just acknowledging someone can make all the difference in the world.!
I couldn't not smile while watching this. And still can't. I almost have tears in my eyes. This was amazing.
I couldn't not smile while watching this. Ans still can't stop. I almost have tears in my eyes. This was amazing.
1:50 wtf is wrong with that chick? That was so utterly rude, honestly that pisses me off.
She might have a hard life and has never been told by anyone she was beautiful and in shock she reacted the only way she knows how. She might look back at this with regret, it might just make her cry. This is just my theory but like you said, what is wrong with her? We will never know and because of that don't let it p**s you off.
Load More Replies...There is something beautiful about everyone, and she captured that very well in this video.
Love this! Revolutionary art! Shea Glover hope you are embracing all the positive feedback.
I so feel they all are very beautiful. Don´t know if it´s due to the photographer (cause as I think - you look on the photo/film, how the maker percieves you), or we just have similar tase :) but I only feel sorry for the once, who think it must be some kind of joke. I´m sure they don´t mean it bad, they´re just not used to it..Which is surely wrong ;)
I sure hope she got an A+ on that!! Very creative and thought-provoking!
The girl at 1.40 is basically me whenever i am complimented when I don't have make up on hhaha
Woow ,, rly amazing work .. well everything has its own beauty :) even if people have different opinions .. love iy
We are surrounded by negativity and criticism. We also tend to criticize ourselves more than anyone else. We are beautiful, we are cute, we are handsome and we are sexy... Recently I came a cross an application called Selfision, that has a goal to make people feel better about themselves through the comments they receive from the community. Worths a look..
This was such a beautiful experiment. It would be nice if people all knew and believed how beautiful they were. It was sad how some didnt think so or doubted it.
The lady from the gif may be the most beautiful person I've ever seen. Gosh.
I think it's just heart breaking that some of the people in the video just really didn't believe that they would be considered beautiful. I saw beauty in each and every person videoed and it's a shame that they can't see it for themselves! I cried! This was a beautiful experiment!
I loved seeing how people responded to what she said, and they all were so beautiful! Made me tear up a bit. Thank you, it's definitely easy to forget all the beauty around us with so much going on in the world.
After watching this I wish there were more people like this, more happiness
I can't even. I mean seriously, I cried like four times lol. This IS a beautiful film, with beautiful people. I feel so bad for us, that the normal reaction to being told you're beautiful is disbelief and shock
I loved this. You made me smile and my heart fill with warmth and love. Beauty is everywhere and you are certain to go places. Thank you for making my day. God bless you.
Anyone else feel bad for the girl who has such low self esteem she can't take a compliment and instead lashes out with anger? Poor girl, her life must be a real struggle.
This is amazing. The girl at 3:15 breaks my heart. It seems like she wants to accept the compliment (gives faint smile) but doesn't believe it(opens her mouth to object, then shakes head and shrugs). I think that's how I react to compliments...and to see it from the other side really puts it in perspective. She IS beautiful, and so is everyone in this video. Everyone....life is beautiful.
I love this! So many beautiful people and reactions, made me smile :)
Everyone in this video is so amazingly beautiful and I think it's magical that you were able to capture this for the world to see. People don't appreciate each other or themselves enough...we should all remind each other on a daily basis that we all are beautiful...filled with so much life and light. Rock on Shea!
This made my day. Their reactions are so genuine. I don't get that much when I take pictures of friends and other people. So a nice compliment would do the trick : )
Each and every person on this video is absolutely beautiful! The diversity and shear unexpected reactions shows how we as a society reacts to how life should be. Instead of breaking each other down with hatred and insults we need to build each other up and see the beauty in every soul. Thank you for share this fabulous collection of beauty and life!
This shows me that, telling someone "You are beautiful", is a very powerful thing to do. It has the power of breaking barriers. Just those 3 words can change a person's life. I will make sure I say this often to more and more people I meet. Thank you!
that girl with the short white hair is beautiful so cute. but regardless your all much loveliness
I love this, and I'm so glad that it was directed at high school students. I think it's so important to encourage kids at that point in their life--for a lot of people it's a very difficult, dark time. Best audience you could have hit! That last girl, what a sweetheart, I wanted to give her a hug. :)
Thank you for making this. It made my heart happy. I hope everyone knows how beautiful they are and I hope you know how beautiful YOU are, Shea, for making others realize it :)
Things like this are awesome and inspiring I would give anything to be told positive things like that
Humans are SO diverse in their beauty! I've been teaching in Japan and I was so refreshed by these American students' freedom to express themselves through their clothes, hair, and makeup. I'd forgotten what a gift that was for people, young and old. So beautiful!
The world needs more people like this! This is a great project and it made so many people smile with just two words "you're beautiful"!
What a beautiful project.....the subjects faces change so quickly from tgeir everyday face to them blushing and and their eyes sparkling! But i think the girl at 3:15 needs a serious hug - she worried me as there didnt appear to be anything when she sighed. Very sad and I hope she is ok...
These people really are beautiful though, all very unique. It says a lot about the person who took the pictures too and what she finds beautiful.
Now, let's do the same thing, but have an ugly person tell them they're beautiful.
This made me cry! I'm not a person people call beautiful, so this makes my heart smile! Thank u for this!
what I noticed is that they are all reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy beautiful :) There smiles, blushing cheeks, laughs, ... etc are all beautiful details indeed.
I have tears in my eyes. They are all so beautiful. Thank you for telling each one of them. Thank you for sharing. (I am a 68 year old grandpa who was moved by your soul)
I'm 73 years old. You will regret it later, when you are not as beautiful (but still active and presentable :-) ) and you wish you had known at the time. You are all cherished emissaries to the future.
Everyone has something beautiful, because: "It's only with the heart that one can see rightly; what's essential is invisible to the eye." Great work Shea, this movie was so touching.
This is the first time I've watched one of these 'social experiment' type videos and not been disappointed by some condescending nonsense. A beautiful piece.
Shea, awesome work! Love how the light hits your soul. You are more awake than most.
I think that some people make use of there happy life and chances but some people turn good to bad
What was up with that girl who sounded so rude and angry that she was called beautiful? I hope she sees this and realizes how awful she acted to someone trying to be genuine and kind to her.
Think her reaction is because she never gotten a compliment before.. She thought it was a joke.. Maybe she lives somewhere where ppl arent nice to eachother.. Everyone in that video are beautiful and its lovely that they are told :-)
Load More Replies...How come none of them was like "what the F*CK"? It's the most natural reaction to a random stranger's telling you creepy things.
How come none of them was like "what the f*CK"? It's the most natural reaction for a stranger's randomly telling you you're beautiful. It's creepy.
it'd be nice if they didn't have all but one white person as the photos in the examples.
I mean 90% of those people are beautiful. I wonder how they told the redhead while keeping a straight face? C'mon even I can't do that one.
The funny thing is that most of them are NOT beautiful........#truefact
Your mustache is a misfit lol you ugly go look yourself in the mirror!
Load More Replies...I think you may be fishing for arguments sweetie. Your harsh words deviate from the entire message this post tries to get across, does that make you ugly? No, it makes you a human with a unique view, just like these kids. All of us are beautiful, even if our brand of beauty isn't the same as what others think it should be. Just because you don't agree with them doesn't mean they don't deserve your respect. ...I hope I've treated you with the respect you deserve as well, I'm only trying to politely suggest that you take another look at the post and try and understand what we're trying to say.
Load More Replies...I'd like to suggest you read my comment to Serban Popa's similar thought. I'd copy and paste it but it'd be a little obnoxious for other readers.
Load More Replies...I'm 73 years old.

No, it makes you a human with a unique view, just like these kids. All of us are beautiful, even if our brand of beauty isn't the same as what others think it should be. Just because you don't agree with them doesn't mean they don't deserve your respect. ...I hope I've treated you with the respect you deserve as well, I'm only trying to politely suggest that you take another look at the post and try and understand what we're trying to say.
