People told her she’s insane when they heard about the idea. It was simple: to get from Valentia Island (Ireland) to Finisterre (Spain) walking and cycling. The most travelled Panda in the world comes from Poland. She’s raised more than 3k Euros for ill children by now while travelling from Atlantic to Atlantic.

The name of the event is PAN.DA 4.000

the amazing Panda has walked and cycled 4000 kms and then hitchhiked back home for 4500 kms.

The journey was full of adventures and meetings with people who shared stories of their life, their experience

…and even their home when Panda needed a shelter to spend the rainy night.

During the journey Panda has slept in the hammock in the orchard by the medieval Irish castle

on the football goal posts in a remote English village

on the bench during Camino Frances

in the trucks during hitchiking

and has even been caught by the nice police while sleeping on the staircase in the flat in Spain.

The idea behind PAN.DA 4.000 was to SHARE THE HAPPINESS with others.

And particularly with Wroclaw Hospice for Children- to promote their work and needs.

What hospice does is amazing as they help ill children from Lower Silesia so that they can be home with their loved ones.

PAN.DA wants to give children this opportunity – it is the closeness of the family and its love that gives a sense of security and joy.
