37 People Who Are Communicating With Their Loved Ones Through Windows To Stop The Coronavirus From Spreading
According to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Data register on COVID-19, as of March 23, 2020, there are 351,731 total confirmed cases of the virus globally. Out of those, 15,374 people have succumbed to COVID-19, while a total of 100,430 have so far recovered. As the number of cases has doubled in recent weeks, countries around the world are trying to prevent or at least slow the spread of the virus. Most governments are advocating self-isolation and social distancing, going as far as introducing country-wide quarantines.
As such measures force people to stay at home and avoid outside human contact as much as possible, some families find themselves missing crucial life moments, like engagements or births. Well, we wouldn’t be humans if we didn’t find a way around it, right? The challenge, however, is to do that safely. And the answer to this problem seems to be very simple. Windows. People all over the world are sharing photos of how they interact with their loved ones through windows, all to keep themselves and others safe during this trying time. So scroll down below and check the photos out. Don’t forget to comment and vote for your favorites!

Three Generations Of Social Distancing As My Dad Meets His Grandson For The First Time
That is so precious. Hopefully one day he will be able to really meet him face to face.
According to the World Health Organization, people should maintain at least 1 meter (3 feet) of distance when interacting with people outside their household (or anyone if they’re coughing or sneezing.) “When someone coughs or sneezes, they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth, which may contain virus,” the organization’s site reads, “If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus, if the person coughing has the disease.”
However, social distancing is only one of the ways to protect yourself from the virus. WHO also recommends washing your hands frequently, avoiding touching your face, and practicing good respiratory hygiene (“This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.”)

My 19 year old son found out today he had been working side by side with a guy that just tested positive. My son went to get tested but they wouldn't test him because he doesn't have symptoms. But his fiance is pregnant in her third trimester.
Pech... Here in Switzerland dosn't tested. Reason: so much sick people, not enough test. Stay home! So simple! Not working, not jogging in the park, not grillen with cousins. STAY At HOME!

I'm certain that there are great numbers of tests reserved for Drs/nurses, officers, military, ppl on the front lines that need them, then CDC, politicians/decision makers and their families and friends they deem necessary to have them, before the general public, but there should always be exemptive measures. There are ppl on meds that mask fevers until it would be almost too late if dependant on that requirement. So many others who's symptoms are so mild, they're not tested and spreading the virus to ppl who have at risk immune systems, like myself, who live with their adult children who are still being engaged to work in a Amazon warehouse because they deem their shoe business to be an essential business that must remain open after the governor in our state closed all non essential businesses today, but yes, 'A Shoe Only Warehouse Is A Essential Business By Amazon Standards'. We all know how illnesses run rampant is close quarters and that's the last thing I want is it brought home to me. I also know several families that they have been very close friends with since working there, that visit our home, with pregnant wives, infants, toddlers, and young children. With one wife having survived a house fire in her teens, to be left with only 70% use of her lungs, and this virus could kill her if her husband brings it home to her. I wouldn't want to take chances with people's lives. So many people are staying home from work there, that they are offering double time for any person with overtime, and for $30 and $35 an hour some people are going to work it for sure. They can't afford not to. Rock and hard place situations for everyone in this mess. Strength and courage to all.
No sooner than I tapped the green arrow to post my above rant, my child texted me to say that the Amazon warehouse across the parking area from them has 3 confirmed cases. Being in such close proximity to each other they should just multiply that by the power of 3 . They have closed that section of the the warehouse for deep cleaning. So very sad. Our governor has been doing a wonderful job in KY. He should have closed these warehouses specifically. It had only mentioned gas, grocery, medical, mechanical, and towing, pharmacy, some to go food, necessities being open at this point. Such a scary time for us individuals who have been weakened by previous illnesses. Strength and courage to all.
