A false sense of entitlement, deep-seated insecurity, and a penchant for rudeness are what separates real jerks from the people we’d rather keep company.
While the world is chock full of amazing people who go out of their way to brighten someone else’s day with kindness, it’s also got quite a few bad apples who don’t care what happens to everyone else, so long as they get whatever they want. And some… some enjoy wrecking other people’s day just for a cheap, malicious laugh.
Bored Panda has collected a series of examples of people calling out some of the biggest, rudest, most entitled jerks in the world. Scroll down for the worst of the worst. Just be prepared for some of the most infuriating posts you’ll have seen in a long while.
And when you’re done with this list, you can take a peek at some of the biggest encounters with jerks that people had in our earlier posts here, here, and here. You know, in case you feel like you’re full of righteous anger enough as it is.

When Your Neighbors Are Exhausted Of Your Fighting, It's Time To Reflect On Some Things
Found In London
People often lash out at others or try to ruin someone else’s day because they have some deeply enrooted insecurities and this is how they try to deal with their lack of confidence. By putting others down, by putting themselves first, they try to prove to themselves (and the world) that they’re better. That they’re worthy of love, attention, and respect.
However, if left unchecked, these insecurities can lead to a miserable life. Both for the entitled and those who are left to pick up the pieces after the chaos.

If You Leave Public Park Tables Like This, You’re A Jerk
Psychotherapist Silva Neves, who is based in the United Kingdom, shared with Bored Panda his insights about insecure behavior, how it’s expressed, and (perhaps most importantly) what the cure for it is. He summarized the core of the issue as some people having a mindset that simply screams “I’m not enough!” And that is the root limiting belief that leads to a lot of anguish for a lot of people.

"Insecurity carries the message: 'I'm not enough', 'I'm not good enough,' or even 'I'm worthless.' These are painful beliefs to have about ourselves but many do have those underlying beliefs," the therapist got to the core of the beliefs that many people who are seen as rude, entitled, and angry seem to have. However, not all insecure people behave the same. Individuals who are insecure can behave very differently. While some lash out, others shut themselves off from the world.

“Insecurity can manifest either by making themselves invisible (If I'm not seen, nobody will notice my flaws), or the opposite, by what we call 'bragging': shouting at everybody about how wonderful they are. This is usually to try to persuade to themselves that they are good enough,” Silva told Bored Panda.
If Your Headlights, Not Even Your High Beams, Are This Bright, You Deserve To Go Straight To Hell
Sadly these are probably legal. I drive a low slung roadster and get blinded by the cars behind me if they get too close as both side mirrors and the rear view mirror direct the headlights towards me - I can dip the rear view mirror, but the not so easy with the side mirrors. The worst are SUVs as their headlights are higher - I think it needs a change in the law to make the beam range a set distance from the car rather than 2% down angle.

"Another way to counter the 'I'm not enough' is by pushing others down, sabotaging other people's success, or attacking people as a way to feel powerful so that they can control their inner pain of 'I'm not enough,’” the therapist explained how some people think and how they attempt to (unsuccessfully) deal with their inner turmoil.

“All of these strategies don't work because what they do is either internalizing or externalizing the belief 'I'm not enough' rather than changing it," he pointed out that they’re trying to treat the symptoms, not the root of the problem.

"The key to becoming more secure is to change the underlying belief 'I'm not enough' to 'I'm enough.’ "The way to do it is with self-compassion,” Silva advocates for an acceptance of one’s own flaws until we fully internalize that we are good enough. That, in turn, leads us to treat other people better.

Insecurities, according to the psychotherapist, often show up in childhood. They entrench themselves in our character as we grow. But, as we mature into adults, we also gain access to the self-awareness and tools to change these underlying negative beliefs.

"Perhaps parents didn't praise children enough, or they paid more attention to the mistakes rather than the successes. As an adult now, people can give themselves a hug once in a while and tell themselves, gently: 'you're doing good,' 'well done,' 'congratulations.' Eventually, the brain will listen and slowly change the message 'I'm not enough' to 'I'm enough,'" he said.

POS Pretends To Be Disabled To Try And Get Out Of Wearing A Mask
I wear a visor. A mask does cause me a bit of a problem as I have a very low red cell count. I will wear a mask if required/requested, but I will struggle a little bit. But when ars*holes like this appear spreading their filth, then people like me suffer. Right now I'm sitting at home, miserable as f*ck because some c*nt coughed on the back of my neck in a supermarket shortly after I got out of hospital and gave me covid! I had just been released after having breathing difficulties from a chest infection caused by complications to heart surgery
Hope it's ok to ask this. My mil has a low red blood cell count but seems fine wearing a mask. Is there something we should watch out for? Genuine question, concerned for my mil.

Good for you Violet. The fakers should be shamed by your courage. Unfortunately they have no shame
Load More Replies...I have asthma, when I need to get food, I'll put on a mask and take my inhaler, if I need to use it I will try to exit the shop I'm in. IT IS LITERALLY A PIECE OF FABRIC ON YOUR FACE FOR 15-20 MINUTES IT IS NOT THAT HARD.
Just disgusting. I don't even wear a mask for myself; I wear masks for those around me I care about. Are masks annoying? Yes they are. Do I need to wear one still? No but I do. I will not be the cause of someone getting seriously sick. Don't have to wear masks now at stores but I still do and will until this virus is gone or no longer a danger
I have a note from my doctor exempting me from wearing a mask (legitimately). So what did I do? First I wrote a mask anyway and kept the note on me in case I absolutely had to take a break, and had a plan to move away from crowds or preferably outdoors if I did. Then I found an electronic mask online called Atmoblu (now on Amazon) that was absolutely fantastic. I've had it for nearly 2 years and when this is all over I'm keeping it for travel in areas with lots of pollution!
Me: What card do you have? Them: A mask exemption card. Me: Wow! I’ve never seen one. Can I see it? Them: Sure. Here it is. Me: Let me get a closer look (taking it from them to “read” it). Wow. I want one. Where do you get something like this? Me: (after they tell me where they got it) Well, you better give them a call—-and make it quick—-because you’re not getting this one back, and I’m going to call the police and tell them about your “dealer”. Oh, and since we’re in a public place, I’ve had my phone on so you’ve been recorded. A*****e.
I really couldn't understand what word they were trying to go for there.
Load More Replies...If you use these you are just as evil as all the people bringing their "service dogs" to public places. I have trained my dog as a service dog but no longer need his services (diabetic alert dog). I know with 95% accuracy most of the time whether or not your pooch is legitimate and I have no room for people who abuse the system and ruin it for the people who genuinely have a need.
Ditto! The most anger-inducing event that I experienced with my PTSD dog is from about 5ish years ago, so pre-Covid. We were at the mall, mind you he has a red high-visibility tactical vest with multiple "Working Dog: Do Not Pet" and "Medical Alert: Do Not Distract" patches on his vest... This woman walks up starts petting my dog and says, "I bought a vest just like that for my little dog so I can take her with me on vacation! Yours looks so professional though, where did you get it? I wish I had my dog here today. To be honest, she'd probably bite your dog." Totally nonchalant, like what she had just said wasn't the most insulting thing she could say to someone who needs a service dog.
Load More Replies...I'm autistic and certain kinds of masks trigger my sensory issues so badly, I was having meltdowns or almost-meltdowns trying to go on occasional errand at the start of quarantine. Luckily I found a kind that's tolerable but I never stopped wearing them so if I can, the nondisabled lazy pricks definitely can and had better!
It's not even accurate. Denying entry isn't a violation if they offer alternatives.
It might look more official if the word poses wasn't misspelled! An indicator of IQ level? Maybe!!!
My previous job wouldn't allow people with exemptions because we were a non-essential business. It's amazing how many people who are exempt from wearing masks suddenly actually can wear a mask when you tell them they have to. I actually argued with a lady who was demanding I give her a mask, saying how if you're exempt then how are you gonna wear that mask?
There is actually absolutely NO excuse or reason to not be able to wear a mask! Medical professionals HAVE confirmed it!
I have medical issues that impact my heart, breathing, and even my ability to remain conscious at times, as I am prone to blood pressure drops and fainting. I wear a mask.
One of my dad's friends has several health issues, including asthma, but you know what? He wears a mask and doesn't complain.
Soledad O'Brien once had the perfect answer to people like this. When someone complained that they couldn't breathe with one, she said, "The doctor who wore a mask the whole 6 hours he spent performing surgery on my knee thinks you're a drama queen."
It's simple really, either wear a mask or stay out of the store, movie, plane etc. You don't have to wear the mask but you don't have to enter the store either. With many of the government rules and regulations being dropped, some places are keeping the mask rules in place, I will wear one, if you won't, stay home.
You don't have to reveal your "disability ". We all know it's mental. A severe case of trumpitis with virulent assholery.
Is it just me or other having a hard time finding the misspellings....?
A few years ago some businesses were refusing customers based on their sexual orientation or race. I fear those are the same people who claim their right is the only right. They definitely have a mental disorder.
I also really hate the people who lie about their little Pomeranians being a service animal. Just stop. My lungs are far more important than your comfort
This is not just a bad fake, but half of the text on it is a lie. "denying access to your business" is the RIGHT of a business owner. They make the rules, not the customer or the FTBA. If the business owner declares his store a "masks or no service" zone, that's the law from then moment on, because, wait for it, a business is a private property. The FTBA has no say in any of that.
They are soooooooo full of it! The ADA isn't intended for that, and no government agency will be fulfilling those threats. Oh, and government website are .gov, stupid
I have issues breathing, after short time wearing a mask i start to feel dizzy. But im not an a*****e and i wear a mask! Stopped going grocery shopping etc because of that, it was taking too long and causing me a headache, but i could not imagine going to the store without a mask.
I would happily deny them access to my business and wait to be reported. Off course I ask the authority to get this card listed as evidence.
serious question but what does the OP mean with profound disability in this context
I’m feeling this is futile, but that’s not how it works, the mask is stopping YOUR spittle from being spread around, and you wear it just in case you’re the one with the infection.
